K. T. "Hybrid" Hammond is Scared FOIB Will Lead to Ghana's Lost $6 Billion-plus Oil Cash?
Many Ghanaians and Ghana supporters are shocked.
The are wondering:
How does an NPP Minority MP control so much of Ghana's Oil policy as they've stuck with that same colonial, predatory, and fraudulent Ghana Hybrid System, for Ghana's Oil contracts?
Is it not "...a fact that even our lawyer, the Adansi Asokwa NPP Member of Parliament, Mr. Kobina Tahir "Hybrid" Hammond, bright as he is, cannot show Ghanaians where in 1990-era P/NDC law a "Ghana Hybrid System" for collection of oil revenues owned to Ghana is codified as law...?...//
...On the other hand,...it would not be a surprise to many Ghanaians and Ghana supporters that Mr. Kobina Tahie "Hybrid" Hammond's tolerance for corruption, and his intolerance of the Freedom of Information (FOI) bill, seem unsurpassed by his own marks...and word...".
It's all a racket engineered by the NPP, and Mr. Kobina Tahir "Hybrid" Hammond is a singular personification of that vulture predation of Ghana's with respect to Ghana's Oil.
But, it is only the NDC government, the government of the day, that can/must adopt the PSA so Ghana can earn more for its depeletable oil resource.
'Nuff said!

The EC change of date of elections in Ghana put before Parliament was not a bill but rather an AMENDMENT to change the law in the constitution. Do you know the difference between AMENDMENT and a BILL?
In order for an amendment to be made in the constitution, you need two third majority from Parliamentarians but for a bill to pass in Parliament, you need a simple majority.
IDIOT, GET IT INTO YOUR ILLITERATE EMPTY SKULL THAT, THE EC DEMAND OF CHANGE OF ELECTION DATE WAS NOT A BILL AS YOU ARE CALLING IT BUT AN AMENDMENT THAT NEEDS 2/3 MAJORITY IN PARLIAMENT TO PASS AND THAT IS WHY NPP WAS ABLE TO SCUTTLE IT, OFUI, THIS EDUCATION TO YOU IS FREE BUT NEXT TIME YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY, DUNDERHEAD.

That is the problem with Ghanaians who think they know too much. This guy does not know the difference between a bill in parliament and an amendment to the constitution by Parliamentarians.

The EC demand of a change of election date was not a bill but rather a constitutional amendment, you are really confused.

You may just be too young to know much about Ghana, or long been absent from information arena regarding anything Ghanaian.
FYI, first, FOIB refers to our FREEDOM OF INFORMATION BILL that the corrupt Parliamentarians, including Hammond, have always been refusing to endorse its enactment, since it was first tabled.
Second, the case of Hammond being corrupt involves his role he played in the dubious manner he accounted for the proceeds from selling our Drill Ship ostensibly to pay off our indebtedness to Societe' Generale, a French Company that made questionable claims against our Government.
The money, or what was left over after making the payment Hammond claimed, was never paid into our General Funds to be properly accounted for. Hammond claimed he gave the rest of the money to our High Commission in London. Something that is very unusual, and has been a subject of lingering dispute. He refutes any suggestion that he has not been candid about that deal with fiery and puerile insults.
I hardly attack the personality of individuals when arguing with them on issues like this. But Hammond's response to the fellow MP justifies any personal attacks folks might rain on him in revenge. The guy has no shame or remorse. At least, he should have the decency of making his case with decorum, when folks suspect he has been corrupt on that deal. Calling his accusers stupid and foolish does not make suspicions of his corrupt handling of the deal go away.
