Ghanians too obsessed and jealous with everything Nigeria. We can't fix our own, we are giving them advice. Useless "professor of economics" sounding like a high school student.

Recession or no recession Nigeria is still the leader. Check out development parameters in the last 10 years and compare with other highly populated medium power countries and see the similarities- Mexico Indonesia turkey etc. As for Ghanaian obsession with anything Nigerian my answer to that is that bad mouth does not move a nation but hard works and innovation do. Nigerian economy is sustained by hard working productive people and not by petrol. In any case the further the price dips the better for the country. So don't get yourself worked up because of that. In the early 90s oil fell as much as 9 dollars and we still moved on

Nonsense prof. There are hardly economic relations other then investments with Nigeria. I rather think when Nigeria S economy is down Nigerians will invest more in Ghana.

Not entirely nonsense. There is mobility of labour between the two countries, just as there is in the EU. UK, for example, has a low rate of unemployment; several EU countries very high rates. So where there is a relatively high demand for labour, people will migrate to get work. There are countless examples of this all over the world. In addition, uncompetitive Ghanaian traders are seeking government intervention to protect them from market forces, propagating racist xenophobia in doing so. This also affects the labour market.

Nigeria like the remaining of west Africa is suffering from the same structural problem an inability to evolve into an industrial country what do o mean by this big big English simply put it has failed to produce the goods and services it needs despite its abundant resources including the more important population this can be attributed to the relative lack of sophistication of cultural practices which has failed to provide the incentive and framework for forward
thinking it's our hope that the Information Age together with our vibrant youth population will manage to break free from inherent practices which has become their bane
