  An NDC Member of Parliament went to his constituency to campaign for votes. Then some of the youth demanded what the MP has actually done for them since he assumed office. The MP smiled and began to talk, "My people, you always vote for me because you like me, and I appreciate that. But I have a question to ask you. All of us know that many people support football teams like Kotoko, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid. What benefits do the supporters get from these teams? Do these teams build houses, hospitals etc for the supporters? But do the supporters complain? The supporters support those teams out of passion and love for the teams, not because they want the teams to give them tangible things. So you should vote for me and my party because of the love you have for me. Remember that we are brothers and sisters under one tribe and religion. Love for me is enough. And when I win again, I will prove to you how I also love you. Thank you."

  Solar energy is all the rage now.The new phenomenon. Even cold or temperate countries have installed solar.The only person I know with Ph.D in solar science in Ghana is Dr.Wirekko-Brobbey. Can you ask him what has been his contribution towards the advancement of solar energy in Ghana? As far as I am aware the answer is an...emphatic No.He is also the biggest blabbermouth to complain whenever he encounters dumsor and complains about ECG tariffs. Can you see the hopelessness in the whole situation? And Kwame Sefa-Kai, keeps calling him energy expert in Ghana. An expert indeed! We as a country do not have 6 billion dollars to build a modest nuclear plant of 1400 megawatts. He is only interested in opening up radio stations that talks about politics 24/7.Dr. Frimpong-Boateng, demonstrated to us what his doctorate meant and in his own small way helped Ghana.What a remarkable Sefwi man. Wirekko-Brobbey, is only interested in telling us he descends from Okomfo Anokye. Having failed to put his academic qualities to test,perhaps he can use some of the fabled Anokye powers to command "dumsor solution" from the sky.
