  From all the things said about this man, it is clear that he was special and he was great. Maybe he took his greatness from the study and following Islam. But I don't think so. He, personally, was a great man. It is not Islam ...

  From all the things said about this man, it is clear that he was special and he was great. Maybe he took his greatness from the study and following Islam. But I don't think so. He, personally, was a great man. It is not Islam that made him great. It was his own personality.
  
  There have been people more learned in Islam than he was, followed more the path laid down by Islam, but they cannot be said to be as great as our departed National Chief Imam. It just shows that it is not Islam that makes the man. It is the man that makes the man. And he was a man!!!
  
  There are more things than Islam - no doubt about that. Whoever takes his place should be pragmatic enough to realise that Islam CAN NEVER solve everything because it is a man-made religion.
