Long before Mills became President, he admitted having smoke-related ailments. It was no secret that he had cancer from the lifelong puffing of nicotine into his lungs.

Suddenly, his death falls into the 'cause-unknown' category to give folks like you something to gossip about, huh?

Go back in history for many instances of such palace coups where sick kings and queens have been murdered by their siblings and relatives in order to ascend thrones not meant for them. Unfortunately, most Ghanaians, having a genetic predisposition to not reading and laziness, as usual, have taken the bait as displayed here by some of the preceding comments. But four years on, the public are none the wiser as to how a whole head of state met his death. This is extraordinary! The ordinary Joe who dies in the street receives a coroner's report as to the cause of his death. Why can't this government do the right thing and settle this matter once and for all unless it has something to hide? It looks like someone took advantage of his illness to get rid of him, after all, the public knew he was sick and there won't be too many questions asked. Period.

They are filled with envy, hatred, avarice, malice and hatred. During John Kuffuor's presidency, Peter Ala Adjetey died mysteriously. No Ghanaian has up to date known the cause of death. Kwadwo Baah Wiredu died of the same illness that killed Ala Adjetey, interestingly during the re denomination exercise. Roko Frimpong of the BoG and another BoG security personnel died, which many believed was contract killing. We have ignored these and are asking for what is known to be a natural cause
