  The MP's are supposed to be love and elected by the people they represent.If that is the case ,they don't need any protection.Most of the MP's are economic refugees,hiding in Accra.If they live among the their people,they will be protected by their good deeds.

  All Ghanaians have the right to be protected. These MPs don't need any special protection from the State. The tragic death of MP, J.B.Danquah-Adu and a number of attacks on some MPs/politicians have basically led to a growing fear among the country's political elite, prompting the calls for personal protection from the State.
  
  Perhaps, it's the Ghanaian public that needs protection from these MPs. Everyday ordinary Ghanaians are murdered, violently attacked, robbed and killed by armed robbers and vicious criminals in their homes and businesses. Everyday ordinary Ghanaians live and go through insecurity in the country. All Ghanaians fear for their lives.
  
  Given the huge pay and other allowances, if these MPs want 'special' protection, they should pay for it themselves.
