It certainly looks as if the partisan political commentaries and the self-seeking clerical hypocritical innuendos have awakened all of a sudden to the word incompetence this elections year, and are using the term profusely; giving Dr. Otabil occasion to show off his attires. Luckily, the Ghanaian electorates are not gullible.

What is this, Massa Kwarteng? "Against this backdrop, liberation theology to the likes of Dr. Otabil becomes part of the normative paleontology of the exegetical, doctrinal, theological originalism of first-century Christianity'. Blablabla, blablabla yeeeeeeeee! Eebai! Please MARCUS, can you break this rambunctious verbosity down to the level of my intuitive understanding?

Essentially, what bra Kwarteng is saying is that Dr, Mensa Otabil is a hypothetical pastor & a closet NPP supporter, and should have unearthed both the corruption and the incompetence of the John Kufuor presidency.

Marcus, if indeed that be what the gentleman meant to say, I humbly wish to ask, in reference to his apparent inquiry as to why the Pastor did not unearth or question similar acts of corruption and incompetence by the Kufuor regime, is Mr Kwarteng an NDC sympathizer?
I ask because I really dont see how Kufuor comes into play here and since it is the usual habit of both the NPP and especially NDC goons to trade in the monumental shortcomings of each other, I can safely assume that this is one of such instances of horseplay by a covert NDC goon.
Should that be the case, then I am sorely disappointed that an apparent Nkrumaist, upon coming out of the closet, is exposed as a sympathizer of what clearly is one of the most corrupt regimes that has appeared on the political terrain of Africa. This statement is with or without prejudice to any acts of commission or omission of the downsides of the former NPP govt.
Unless Mr Kwarteng is an NDC goon, I really cannot find any logical explanation as to why the Kufuor govt of several years back should be roped into the mess of today to take responsibility for - or at the very least, why their ills should be matched against those of the current govt.
This, in spite of the convoluted linguistic icing, is very nonintellectual, banal and petty, to say the least.

It is not appropriate for Mahama and his administration, with the support of Kwarteng, to arrest and prosecute those who were found to be corrupt under previous npp regime, just as Kuffour jailed Tsatsu, Peprah, Solomey, Abudapke, Sepa Yankey, Ibrahim Adams and a host of others? In lieu of anything like this, Kwarteng and his Nkrumahists/NDC has no case as far as corruption is concerned under the former Kuffour's regime. Arrest and and prosecute, or leave the pastor alone. And to buttress what the so called NPP pastor said; do you think it make sense charge the taxpayer close to 300,000 new Ghana cedis for a six-unit classroom block which shouldn't cost the taxpayer more than a 100,000 new Ghana bucks? Or, does it mean Kwarteng and his malicious band of mischievous entities are suffering from selective myopia, as incompetent president,Mahama, would put it?

Man jailed for having sex with a sheep
Dzodze, Nov 27, GNA - Yao Flah, 23, a kente weaver, is to go prison for 12 months for having sex with a female sheep and killing it afterwards. He pleaded guilty to the charges of an unnatural carnal knowledge and cruelty to an animal at a District Court at Dzodze, which sentenced him to 12 months for each charge to run concurrently.
Police Inspector Emmanuel Ankrah at Tadzewu, prosecuting, said Flah lived at Akanu, near Tadzewu on the Dzodze-Akatsi road. He said on November 23, the complainant, the owner of the sheep, returned home at around 1800 hours to find the tethered pregnant sheep missing.
Mr Ankrah said the complainant during a search found it (sheep) dead in a nearby bush with a patch of fluid around its genitalia. He said following a hint, the complainant summoned Flah before the elders, where he admitted having had sex with the animal before piercing its throat with a knife.
Mr Ankrah said Flah was thereafter handed over to the police. He told the court the convict was sometime ago arrested for defiling a juvenile but prosecution was stalled because of lack of interest by the complainant.
Flah prayed the court for leniency saying he was drunk but Mr Anthony Abebrese, Presiding Magistrate, said he was a deviant who should be put away for sometime to reform.
