In the absence of science, technology, and the humanities – what we toy with is foreign to our culture – we create room for these confidence tricksters and soothsayers to come in to rob us blind.

Kwesi Ratt is correct this time. This kind of activity has negative impact on economic activities. The thing is most of those people filling the stadium won’t pay taxes but will have money to go and pay tithes and yet have the gull to go the government and demand for all manner of services. I wish they will put their mouth at where their money is.

My friend Kwesi Pratt,first of all the Police chief who gave this confidence trickster the authority to shut down Accra for a church service, is a Mahama appointee who is only doing his little bit to quietly earn a few dollars on the side from the cranky Pastor. We will therefore pass the blame onto Mahama who appointed him to a position which evidently, he is unable to manage as efficiently as we would have thought.

Now Mahama is the guy who you gave all your energy and skills to see him become President. Then, since he became President, you have done all in your power to praise him, to defend him and to encourage him to do all the bad things that he is doing to this country.

So why, Kwesi Pratt, if I may ask, are you raving, ranting and fuming at the poor ol' policeman who is only trying to make a small dishonest living at the behest of Pastor Chris in the same way that you have also been making your own fair share of dishonest living by sustaining the corrupt and incompetent govt of Mahama?

I personally pray that the Almighty God Himself, open the eyes and minds of His people to see and discern the truth. Too many 'men of God" are parading the face of the earth, deceiving and extorting money from the people only to enrich themselves. This should not happen again.

It is done most of the time in Ghana. You can bring a football coach in Europe to see your president. It will pay high dividend for you. Didn't Michael Essien bring Mourinho to see Pres. Kufour? When Essien fell out of use didn't Mourinho called him to Milan ? Readers can remember many of such cheap disgraceful humiliating experiences our leaders have taken us through.

Even so called visioneers, do bring fellow preachers from the US and they are received at the castle / flagstaff house. I return these guests promote their hosts in their countries and dollars flow.

This man has so many questions about him. The split in his church, his wife's court case against him , the many things he has said in response to these indicates all is not well.

His visit to ghana is an attempt to relaunch himself. There are a lot of question marks over his head. O ghana.

This is Pastor Chris's first time in Ghana, do you know the number of countries that want him to hold the healing service? I'm personally glad he's visiting Ghana because the country needs a divine visitation. I live in the United States but visited Ghana last year and I saw the retrogression in systems, roads, awful inflation, sick people begging money by the roadside, armed robbery, etc. GHANAIANS TALK TOO MUCH, BLOCKED ROADS AND SO WHAT???? The roads have been opened all along, what have you done. I wish today was a public holiday, DIVINE INTERVENTION IS WHAT THE COUNTRY NEEDS. Let's welcome the man of God with love and humility and await God's mercies in Ghana. Americans can't wait to receive such an honour from Pastor Chris, we are still praying and believing him to visit us. Pastor Chris isn't in Ghana for your devalued Cedis please. He is a serious giver, go check for yourself. The kind of gifts he gives you may not be able to afford it your entire life. In the Bible, men of God were consulted even before governments and kingdoms take major decision or go for wars. After Pastor Chris's visit to Ghana things are going to change in the positive direction, sick people will be healed and the economy will improve. He received a mandate from God to come at this time of difficulty and economic turmoil in Ghana. He is spirit led. He could have come a long time ago when things were going well for Ghana.
Pray and ask God to forgive you for blaspheming against His anointed one.

1.God put Presidents whether through elections or monarchy in every nation to lead us because we ask this from HIM.
2.God put pastors or prophets in every nation because HE will caution our leaders through them.

This is why if you see hundreds of thousands of rational beings behaving in a certain way you are not used to, it a wise thing to find out why and learn something new rather than assume you know it all and pass a hasty judgment from your ignorant position that they are all fools.
The question is, why is Pastor Chris such a big attraction to several Ghanaians? Is he not just a pastor like other pastors? Surely, Ghanaians would not behave like that towards other pastors except they be like Chris.
I would therefore humbly advise you to drop that line of least resistance in jumping to the hasty conclusion that Ghanaians are such gullible and stupid and instead do proper thinking.
We read in the Bible, the same with Jesus. Ordinary people would flock on Him wherever He went to the confoundment of the so-called learned men. When you know something is inevitable, like the fact that millions would gather to meet Pastor Chris in a programme, instead of letting your personal dislike for men of God get in the way, why not rather think and do what's best for human safety at such a large event?

That's what the police chief has done.

No sane pastor would have an allnight event on Saturday into Sunday, or on Sunday into Monday. And did I hear him say Fridays are busier than weekends? Really?

Even with my personal respect for men of God aside, I think only a pretender would claim that they don't think Pastor Chris should carry that kind of klout. Obviously you underestimate men of God such as him. And even on a human level, some of the things men of God have done, secular men (like Kwesi Pratt) haven't even done a tenth of that.

So, maybe he should also influence the lives of millions of people around the world first before attempting to criticize them...
