This Has Deepened Poverty In The Country Especially The North And Volta Regions Which Are The Strongholds Of This Ndc Govt......Yet The Educated In Ndc Are So Devious That They Play On The Minds Of Their People To Deepen Tribalism And Ethnicity In Politics Thus Making Their Voters Who Are The Worst Victims Fail To Even Realize The Massive Thievery Of Ndc Govt........Contract Sole Sourcing And Bloated Contract Budgets, Sada, Subah, Gyeeda, Leap, Yes, Etc Have Become Tools For The Ndc Govt To Dupe Ghanaians And Hence Deepen Our Poverty Which Has Seen The Ghana Cedi Drop From 1.12 Ghc To The Dollar To The Present State Where It Is Almost 4.0 Ghc To The Dollar.........And Yet This Inept And Criminal Mafia-Like Ndc Govt Is Looking Forward To Winning The 2016 Elections Bcos They Have Got Afoko And Kwabena Agyapong Etc To Destroy Npp’s Hopes Of Winning 2016 To Save Ghana From The Hands Of These Ndc Thugs Masquerading As A Govt.....No Wonder Ghana Is Ranked As The Second Most Corrupt African Country In Africa By Transparency International.......Even John Mahama Had To Overspend National Budget By A Whooping 4.3 Bn Dollars In 2012 Just To Win Elections 2012.....Ghana Has Never Been On Its Feet Since Then.......This Man John Mahama Is Not Only Clueless But Also Very Incompetent And Deeply Involved In The Thievery And Corruption Destroying Us All ..........Ide Biiii Kekekekekeke

To them, an Asante can root for NDC but an EWE can't root for NPP.. the latter is an abomination.
I tell my Ewe folks... such thinking smacks of arrogance, bigotry and senselessness.
We are all Ghanaians. There are bad Asantes as there are bad Ewes. There are good Ewes as there are good Asantes.
Let us accept this natural phenomenon and be at peace with ourselves.
Gud morn.

The University for Development Studies started wih that Nyankpala campus. Nyankpala is found in the Savilugu/Nanton district and it is even not the district capital. Today, UDS has a campus for medical, school in Tamale, a campus for physical sciences in Navrongo and a 4th campus for the humanities in Wa. Allow people who with visions to implement them. Others were in power for 8 years and did nothing to give Eastern region a university

Class 1proper. Kufuor could not gave done everything. Why did Rawlings who preceded Kufuor 20 yrs not do it.? There is always something to do but it must be done with common sense. NDC can even choose to build 4 airports in Volta. That's something but will that be prudent?

Charles, I find your arguments rather strange and contradictory. If every development agenda was to focus on only economic viability then am sure no village will have electricity or water. The fact that the varsity is starting in somanya doesn't mean in the future it can't be expanded to bunso or koforidua. Uds started in nyankpala, but now has its main campus, VC office etc in tamale. Atta Akyea didn't have any business making those comments knowing very well how ndc can twist issues to their benefit especially in an election year. What do u mean by the eastern corridor road is not economically feasible compared to making Accra-kumasi a dual carriage way? Do u think that all those who use that road use it bcos they want to? What happens to opening up the country for development? K4 introduced the best social intervention policies in the 4th republic to help alleviate poverty and improve the dignity of life for the poor and rural dwellers. Huge sums were used to accomplish this, without thinking of economic viability. These are the arguments that make Ghanaians see npp as an elitists party. Every Ghanaian living everywhere has a right to portable drinking water, electricity, and gud road. This is explicitly contained in our directive principles of state policy. Again, tamale airport vis a vis kumasi airport. What statistics show that the kumasi airport will be more viable? Again, tamale is ndc strong hold with or without the airport. So ndc clearly didn't have a political motive in putting the airport there. Tamale is one of npp weakest links, and wise political strategy will be to support such an idea and tell the electorates that npp will even improve on this. This will convince ppl to vote npp. But condemning this idea sends the signal that the ppl there are unworthy of this development and the poor performance by npp will continue. Am true npp but sometimes comments like Atta Akyea's own and your inconsistent article make me sad and wonder if we are really interested in winning 2016. Ndc is smart and will always push npp to make unguarded statements for them to capitalize on. It's not every action of our leaders that we must defend. Lets still remember the damage that nana's all die be die did to our 2012 chances. Clearly nana didn't mean what the ndc propagandists carried around but it affected our chances. Pls lets stop these useless articles and defense of vile comments. Ghana has suffered too much in the last 7 years in the hands of these incompetent and broad daylight armed robbers who call themselves ndc. Ghana needs competent hands to save her from this present state of hopelessness.
