Our driver-mate incompetent corrupt president thought he could learn on the job, but he wasn't smart enough to do so during the probation period and Ghanaians are suffering as a result of his dismal performance. Could you remember Bature once said he wasn't ready for the job and Mr. Mahama denied it? That was the cardinal truth because; the last three years have proven to every Ghanaian that he wasn't a presidential material and shouldn't have stolen the nomination and rigged the elections in 2012.

The one thing all the degrees from universities will not help acquire is wisdom, Joseph Annor and you can take that to the bank. What President Mahama said about Dr. Bawumia was proverbial and takes wise people and those with acquired understanding not classroom earned that come a dime a dozen to comprehend. Let me give it to you and others yet to have real knowledge beyond the hollow lessons learned. Dr. Bawumia can only be good as what is left of the footprints he leaves behind. A good leader, CEO, thinker, you name it is known for work well done or markers left. Dr. Bawumia like can preach till the end of time but you, him and all the fanatic worshippers out here cannot point to a Dr. Bawumia hand work at any institution, public or private, that stands today as best practices or procedures. We judge those past and current president on their record; it is wise to heed those who have something to stand on or defend than to throw your empty weight behind the Bawumia train. Do you get my drift or will my explanation do it for you.
Dr. Bawumia, like Martin Amidu, have become cult leaders in Ghana and yet Dr. Bawumia is not new to public life. So tell me which industry or institution practice or adaptations come from Dr. Bawumia classics? Economic theories and principles are not Dr. Bawumia trademark and surely he cannot point to a legacy at BoG or the African Bank where he supposedly worked.

You can't be serious, Abeeku. You as a citizen of Ghana have inalienable right to defend the constitution of Ghana according to article 3 of the Constitution; and it is exactly what Martin Amidu is doing. Yes, if you want to appropriate "cult leader" to him so be it. Those of us who understand his preoccupation with fighting the corrupt NDC government and its vassal Anas' Tiger Eye PI are grateful.
I am amazed at your level of cognition on this matter. Do you have to walk in the shoes of JJ Rawlings or JA Kufuor before you can criticize Mahama as incompetent? This is irresponsible and deranged line of thinking. You are absolutely right, you do not need a degree to figure out if there is peace, order, and good government in Mahama's Ghana, unless perhaps you are blind and daft.
Did the Americans who criticized George Bush as incompetent have to be ex-presidents? There are economic indicators that are available for every citizen to take stock of the government's performance - indicators such as; unemployment stats, CPI, competitiveness of the cedi, income per capita, standard of living vs. cost of living ratio, Ghana's debt ratio, etc., etc.
You have to be careful because when the government is incompetent, standard of living falls and people die. I am on record of criticizing the dastardly practice of political parties choosing V.P. candidates from the north. It is mindless and utterly stupid to say the least. The practice breeds incompetency as we are witnessing now with the death of Atta Mills. God forbid, if Akuffo Addo wins in 2016, we will have to deal with another shoe-in northerner because of Akuffo Addo's age and health, who probably would be worst than Mahama. This is what happens in a country like Ghana where people do not use their heads.

Describing the president as incompetent is a very constructive criticism every member of Ghanaian public must do. The president should consider it not being insult but rather to keep him awake to deliver on his promises made to the electorates. Despite the political divisions in the country, every party should contribute to and share ideas with the ruling party and be accepted by party in office to manage the country well. I openly pray for the current administration and governments inwaiting to be able to shape the development of our homeland Ghana. May Allah help us all
