  Thanks to Merck for diabetes awareness to the front burner because it has received the desired attention.Diabetes is not a death sentence or a rich man's disease it strikes every class,color,religion,age etc but you have continue doing your check ups from time to time because it can strike at any age what is most important is knowing your health status and doing the required things such as eating more vegetables and fruits,exercising especially taking 30 minutes daily walks,drinking more water,get away from sugars and salt,eat more fish and chicken and try to get away from red meat,get enough sleep,reduce stress etc.diabetes and bp go hand in hand so you practice the same for bp and please follow up with your regular check ups with your Dr and please take your medications as told and do not rely on pastors,priests,herbalists,malams etc.then go to see your Dr when it is already tooo late.
