Christ didn't preach that people should be poor. That is not what the conservatives are saying either. The type of over-concentration on riches being displayed by today's Christians is not only unChristian but against all sense of fairness. Anybody can be rich if he wants to. But they shouldn't link that richness to Christ. Christ never taught that people should use the Gospel to become so inordinately rich.
Christ never really established any church. It was Paul who established the church and made many of its rules according to his own understanding. But the early church leaders and preachers did not use their positions to enrich themselves. It is that use of the Gospel to enrich oneself inordinately that is nauseous!!!

Yes indeed, anything can be supported by the Bible and these thieves in cassocks and suits parading themselves as preachers know it.
You would find that only these crooks are the only ones who become filthy rich at the expense of their poor ignorant, I would say, illiterate or semi-illiterate congregation. It is sickening when a Nigerian pastor, Pastor Chris, is able to donate one million niara to a University that recently conferred a honorary Doctor of Law on him. Meanwhile there are many poor people in his congregation who can't make ends meet. Jesus fed the poor and rode on a donkey, let these fools try that.

Who even called and ordained you to be an Apostle? You don't even understand the Priesthood of God. Your understanding of the priesthood I'm sure is not far different from your prosperity gospel effusive tirade. The scriptures recommends : "Seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God and its righteousness and all other things shall be added unto you".(Matthew 6:33). Reading from verse 28:"And why take ye thought for garment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29. And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31. Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32. (For after these things do the Gentiles seek : ) for your Heavenly Father knoweth that he have need of all these things. 33. But seek ye first the kingdom of God and, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you". 34. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof".
The emphasis is on spirituality and righteousness or a relationship with God not on temporal prosperity. Again in Matthew 8:19 And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. 20. And Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head". Jesus was not rich by worldly standards and he did not seek for them. He went after his Father's business. You don't know nor understand the scriptures so why call yourself an Apostle? The blind leading the blind indeed.

Those of you who does not understand the message of our Lord Jesus Christ should stop deceiving the public. The Word of God should be understood by revelation, and not the figment of anybody's imagination. What kind of prosperity are you talking about ? Jesus said, it shall be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to go to heaven. And also that where your treasure is there shall your heart be also. The devil took Jesus up and showed him the wealth of the earth and then requested him to bow to him for the wealth. Jesus rejected it. Some of you are the Gehazi's of today. Money (Mammon) the Bible says is the root of all evil. Rather seek the old paths and walked ye in them . Jeremiah 6:16-17. Jeremiah 5:26-31.

The prosperity messengers should show one Scripture from the Book of Genesis to Revelation where God ever sent a Prophet to bless His people. All the Prophets that ever walked the face of the Planet Earth came with WARNING MESSAGES. And never have two major prophets ever walked this earth at the same time. Stop deceiving the people with your Nicolaithan doctrines.
