  From Hamburg, the lazy Ewe Chris Mensah Dekportor is again on the platform to display his usual dirty partisan politics just like the other notorious Ewe J.K. Bokor in USA.
  
  The useless partisan and tribal political columnist have nothing sensible in their heads than to spew partisan garbage with no regard to how Ghanaian people are currently suffering in the iron hands of the NDC lead John Dramani Mahama.
  
  They will nevertheless come out to display their highest stupidity. The lazy Ewe Mensah Dekportor is seen daily roaming the streets of Hamburg, hauking from Afro Shop to Afro Shop drinking Akpeteshie and talking weed, always in the same over size coat bought from the street market. Stop you tribal and partisan nonsense and find a job to do.

  In a corrupt environment, no processes or regulations can prevent the illegal export or undervaluation of gold exports. Ultimately, it's about people & honesty. The problem has to be seen in context of the infestation of corruption in our country generally. I've always maintained that when corruption turns to impunity, as it is in Ghana, you know those in authority are deeply embedded in the vice.

  The author has demonstrated sound reasoning in his expose on the issue at hand. Clearly, the dual role that PMMC is pursuing, i.e. both regulatory (as in referee) and actor (as in player) cannot be justified or condoled. Moreover, the author gives concrete proposals that could be implemented to ensure not only transparency and financial discipline, but also more returns for the nation.
