Our politics is tribal. Those who insult, provoke and shout the loudest are often rewarded with positions. There are few sanctions and complaints get nowhere. Tit for tat becomes the norm. In the run up to the general elections, this will escalate, culminating with the Peace Council's usual rhetoric. Violent behaviour begets violent behaviour. When you start disqualifying candidates, their supporters and the candidates themselves will soon learn. It is a case of politicians behaving badly because they think they can get away with it. They bully, cajole, harass and intimidate, then bribe and beg us to vote for them. Demo-crazy!

This is not news any more. It's now a fact that there is somebody among the NPP leadership who is criminally in bed with the NDC party, and Kufour himself has endorsed and accepted that fact. There is no doubt that there is an NDC hired spy implanted in the midst of the NPP leadership to destroy the party's fortunes in the 2016 elections, and the incident must be investigated thoroughly and the perpetrators punished to set another milestone for our democratic dispensation. This is the mother and father of all electoral malpractices that led to the removal of Nixon from the White House. Therefore, NPP should not sit idle by while some unscrupulous hired agents destroy the democratic will of the people of Ghana to choose their leaders freely and democratically. Contrary to what the discredited former EC Chairman said, this is another example of how elections are rigged far away from the polling stations and Ghanaians must take note.
