I do not condone violence, whatever the form it takes, under any circumstances, let me state that the vast majority of your colleagues, who have no business being in that noble profession, better up their game, or simply ship out!
The 'antics' of many of your so-called 'celebrity-journalists' leaves me wondering where all those individuals got their training from; and as for the rest of the pack, I am not surprised much, or all of their focus is on 'soli', as well as 'item thirteen'. I can remember the days of Kwame Amamoo, John Hammond, etc, when whatever came out of the mouth of a Presenter or Field Reporter, carried a lot of weight. What a bunch of losers we have today running around this country, stirring up trouble and also misinforming the public!
Yeah right, journalists indeed; and don`t expect the few within your fraternity who are honest, can think on their feet, to come to the aid of the 'nobodys' any time soon!

I RESPECT YOUR FRUSTRATION ON THE ISSUE BUT MUCH OF THE EVENTS THAT TRIGGER THE UNFORTUNATE PERCEIVED ASSAULTS ON YOUR COLLEAGUES IS THE IMPUNITY WITH WHICH MOST OF THEM DISCHARGE THEIR DUTIES TO DEMONSTRATE THE MISPLACED NOTION OF "MEDIA POWER". AS MUCH AS YOU LONG FOR RESPECT FOR YOUR DUTIES, REMEMBER, SAME IS REQUIRED OF OTHER DUTIES. AND WHEN IT IS SO MUCH NECESSARY TO HAVE A COVERAGE OF AN UNFOLDING ISSUE, IT IS ALSO EXPECTED OF THE JOURNALISTS (MOST OF WHICH ARE JUST REPORTERS WITHOUT JOURNALISM CERTIFICATE SO TO SPEAK)TO BE ETHICAL IN SEEKING CONSENTS OF THOSE BEING COVERED IN THE CAUSE OF DISCHARGING SAID MEDIA DUTIES. IRONICALLY, ONE CAN'T JUST CARRY CAMERA AND START FILMING YOU "ATTENDING TO NATURE'S CALL" UNDER THE NOTION THAT THE MEDIA IS POWERFUL.
VICTIMS OF "ASSAULT" ARE MOST OFTEN WITHOUT IDENTIFICATION AT SCENCES AND ALSO FAIL TO IDENTIFY THEMSELVES WITH THE AGENCIES HAVING RESPONSIBILITY OVER SUCH EVENTS. ALSO, THE MEDIA HOUSES ALWAYS HAVE MISPLACED PRIORITY IN ASSIGNING TASKS TO ITS WORKERS BY KEEPING THE CERTIFIED JOURNALISTS IN THE OFFICE AND ASK REPORTERS (LACKS MEDIA ETHICS)TO COVER STORIES FOR THEM TO JUST EDIT AND PUBLISH WHICH IS LAZINESS.
MEANNESS OF MEDIA HOUSES IN ODER TO MAXIMISE PROFIT BY EMPLOYING UNQUALIFIED PERSONNEL TO AVOID PAYING THE RIGHT SALARIES TO QUALIFIED ONES IS ALSO WORTH CONSIDERING TO IMBUE SANITARY INTO THE MEDIA WORK.
YOUR SUBMISSION ABOUT YOUR RECENT COLLEAGUE WHICH TRIGERRED YOUR PIECE INDICATED THAT HE WAS APPROACHED TO STOP FILMING AND THE NEXT MOMENT, HE WAS BEATEN AND BUNDLED TO THE POLICE STATION. BUT, YOU DIDN'T TALK ABOUT HIS REACTION TO THAT CAUTION. THE QUESTIONS ARE: DID HE STOP? WAS HE ORALLY ABUSIVE TO THE OFFICERS? WAS HE APPROPRIATELY DRESSED FOR EASY IDENTIFICATION? DID HE SEEK THE CONSENTS OF THOSE RESPONSIBLE?.....ETC
FINALLY, MEDIA HOUSES SHOULD SPEND MONEY TO BUY SUFFISCATED CAMERAS THAT CAN ZOOM FROM LONG DISTANCES TO SECRETLY COVER SENSITIVE EVENTS WITHOUT NECESSARILY HAVING CONTACTS WITH FEUDING MOBS. STOP MOBILE PHONE AND TOY REOCORDER COVERAGES TO AVOID BEATING.

We would like to know from our political and unprofessional policeman from whom they confiscated those AK-47s, pistols, daggers and the machetes. Instead of shedding light on how far they have gone with the investigations professionally, they're trying to be advocates for the government's twisted and deceitful campaign of trying to make the case look like it was a gang fight between two political vigilante groups in order to blindfold the Ghanaians and cover the government's own tracks. Moreover, we would like to know how far they have gone with the case involving the NDC supporter that was caught with thumb-printed ballot papers and sent to the police station.
These are specific crimes or exhibits that should lead us to the real criminals and the magnitude of the crime facing Ghanaians. In the recent suicide bombing that took place at a mosque in Kuwait, the security officers identified and arrested the owner of the car that took the suicide bomber to the mosque followed by the driver. From there, the investigations led to the masterminds and accomplishes of the heinous crime. Why can't our security forces investigate the leads or exhibits that would lead us to the bigger picture, rather than gloss over them as if they confiscated the arms from the air? Our security forces, like the government, are trying to generalize the issue so that they could bury the truth between Azorka boys and Bolga Bulldogs in order to blindfold Ghanaians and cover the government own tracks. Ghanaians deserve better.
