This is total nonsense. who does the WAEC think is fooling. Imagine! so are they telling us that we as parents should have borne the cost. I think we need to organize a massive demo against these people who claim the are more smarter than we parents. How much is the psychological cost that they have cost to our children. These people must be thought some form of lessons.

The minister of education must be the one to resign or get fired for the leakage, this things happens every other year and nothing is done about it.So we can not develop a water tight system that can guarantee exam free from cheating in the country? If it Elections EC can't guarantee same,so what at all can we do right. If this is not checked trust me our presidents live is in danger and he should re screen his security outfit very well, because what it means is that nowhere is free from corruption and bribery, who know maybe his own wife can be bribe too.We don't ve to joke with matters like this, all those in charge of safe keeping of the papers must be sack .

What about transportation to and from the exams venue? What about lunch eating during taking of the exams? Are you aware that in some places, students from villages have to rent rooms in towns during the exams period? Are going to pay for that too? What about the psychological trauma that students, teachers and parents are going through? Are you going to pay for that too? I am surprised WAEC does not have psychologists to advise them on the implications of their operations and how to minimise DAMAGES. It is a BIG SHAME!!!

WAEC only see cost as Paper and Printing Cost. But cost of Examinations in its entirety includes the Transport to examination centre, Food and drinks, Pens ans pencils etc, per Student, invigilators and teacher cost. Is WAEC prepared to foot these bills as well, What a financial loss to Stdents and families, aggravating the recent fire and flood woes not forgetting the already struggling high inflationary economy.

Yes, WAEC will cover the full cost of resit in terms of the logistics. What about the extra energy required by the pupils to enable them resit? This should not be taken lightly otherwise we will be pushed the next time to do the right thing. People must bear punitive cost for being irresponsible. The Almighty expects from us deligence and reasonable conduct in all our conduct.
This irresponsibility has gone on for too long and I think things have crystalized now. We have gone beyond the threshold now.
All pupils resiting these papers should be rewarded by the provision of energy replacement drinks/food.
I pray for the day God will give Ghana a President who is willing to do the right thing like Prof Mills and will protect him from dying until His mission is completed, to surge this country forward from this mediocrity.

This is appalling, humiluating, for whole five subjects to be leaked.I would not blame anybody but the scribes of WAEC.If the leaders we so believed have now become nine-day wonders, then our future as youth is at stake!

he West Africa Examinations Council (WAEC) has disclosed that they would bear the full cost of the re-sit of five exams papers that were cancelled on Wednesday.
This was disclosed on Accra-based radio station, Citi FM, by WAEC's Deputy Director in charge of Public Affairs, Mrs. Agnes Teye-Cudjoe; “we are not going to ask parents to pay anything, WAEC is going to fully foot the bill for this (the re-sit),” she said.
She encouraged the candidates to brace up for the rescheduled papers that were slated for 29 – 30 June, “we urge candidates to remain calm and put their thoughts together and to prepare themselves for the re-sit of the papers.”
The examination council issued a statement cancelling four subjective papers (Paper 2) that had all been written, the affected papers were English, Mathematics, Religious and Moral Education and Integrated Science. The yet to be written Social Studies papers 1 and 2 were also cancelled.
Two last papers that the Council went ahead to administer on Thursday and Friday were French and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) papers.
The Bureau of National Investigation is currently investigating the circumstances around the leakage and so far ten people have been picked up, three students and seven others.
That is not enough; that management it's be desolved; every year the same old happens and that leaves the children lives uncertain..many of them who could not rewrite their exams again and leads to high school drop out which ...
