  The frequent petroleum price increment is the cause of the Ghanaian weak Cedi, but we always attribute it to so many things. In fact, increasing the price of petroleum products in Ghana affect all other goods and services and that compels all other things to be adjusted upwards. But the Govt of Ghana will not stop those increment so the prices of good and services will be stable. For instance GHACEM reduced its Cement product from GH¢28.00 to GH¢27.50 just some few days after then the Govt adjusted the fuel prices upwards by 9%. GHACEM has no choice but to revert the price back to GH¢28.00 again. It is about time we tell Mahama govt to stop the unnecessary price increment of petroleum product to enable the Cedi stabilize.
