I can confirm to you that many middle class Ghanaians have decided to become polling agents and presiding officers in the 2016 elections, so guess what will happen. The NDC thinks their propaganda will win them elections again but that is a lie. Mahama is despised by most Ghanaians just as many despised Nana Addo and there will be more voter apathy in the NDC camp than the NPP.

Mike, I disagree with you on the above statement. In fact, it was the judiciary that compelled the NPP to accept the results of the 2008 Presidential Elections because it was Justice Amoakoh Asante of the Fast Track High Court who refused to hear NPP's ex-parte motion to stop the EC from declaring the results, that forced Nana Akufo-Addo to accept the result.

You can read this as reported on Ghanaweb on January 1, 2009 (see, "Judge say No to NPP" under General News.of that day). I think that is an unfair accusation against the Judiciary.

I agree with many things that Dr. Bokor has said but if he thinks the voting pattern of the last two elections will be the same in 2016., then he is under a delusion. It is true that Nana is despised by many people but the reality today is that most Ghanaians are fed up with President Mahama and the NDC. I think the cup of the NDC is full just as it happened to NDC in 2000 and NPP in 2008. I bet you guys that at least Western and Greater Accra regions will fall to the NPP.

The NDC is being deceived by the ''sympathy'' victory they won in 2012 but they should know by now that Mahama has lost enough good will to send the NDC into opposition. Their talk of 1 million votes in Ashanti is laughable because that is only achievable if the north-south migration increases dramatically and that will also decrease their votes in the north. They should not think every mind is static.

The fact is, the NPP is not learning anything new and if this is not pointed out to them, their party would eventually lose the 2016 general election only for them to start pointing accusing fingers on others of stealing the elections. Such a development could threaten the peace and stability of our dear nation. I don't think any right thinking being would prefer such a thing.

Akufo-Addo definitely does not need any publicity to win any election in Ghana. He is such a popular figure that some school children at times unknowingly think he is the President of Ghana. So why waste money to distribute his posters through every nook and cranny of the country?

Excuse my language, it is only a fool who would always do the same thing, expecting a different result. The bane of the NPP is that they have refused to reflect on what has actually been causing them their electoral defeats. Now their confidence level is soaring high to win the next election. TO them President Mahama has failed and to consider the fact that the late President Mills won the Presidency on his third attempt,their candidate would also be third time lucky to win. Whether that would happen or not, it is only time that would tell.

As an English major not STEM, he should know about peer review and intellectual or street defense of whatever you put on public domain. We admire people like CK Andy others who will write on any topic (political/tribal/economical etc) and come up here to stand up for what he/she believes. Let me see you with the moniker MANKIND when JUSTICE SARPONG’s and KWAME OKOAMPA-AHOOFE’s ethnocentric articles and commentaries appear on Ghanaweb.

As for me I don't see any "tribalism" in Dr. Bokor's piece. Besides, I don't see you guys here attacking him when he takes on or praises Akans in the CPP, NPP, NDC, etc. Where is the evidence in Dr. Bokor's piece saying his criticism of NPP's campaign strategy is because Nana Akufo-Addo is Akan? Are Paul Afoko and Otiko Djaba Akans? Are there not other ethnic groups in the NPP?

Write on STEM and let's read it. Not everyone should write on STEM. You should do it since Dr. Bokor may have other topics on his mind. Are the words ‘baptism,” “idealism,” “conceptualism,” “Darwinism,” “Cubism,” “Eurocentrism,” “despotism,” “animism,” “creationism,” “dynamism,” dualism,” “nominalism,” “realism,” “plagiarism,” “despotism,” “formalism,” and hundreds of others in contemporary linguistic vogue obsolete?

Have you bothered to find out how many creative concepts with “ism” are still in vogue in the English language today? Do you have any idea what “obsolete” means? Did you raise any objections to Kwabena Agyapong when he ignorantly alluded to the fact that Busia’s capitalism is what Russia and China are practicing? Who says Chinese political economy is capitalism? In other words, did you tell Agyapong that “capitalism” with an “ism” in it was obsolete? When it suits your warped ideological stance, everything is fine.

Shame on you! And rather than telling Dr. Bokor to learn from Andy, why don't you learn from both Andy and Dr. Bokor by writing for us to read! At least I will be glad to read your critique of Dr. Bokor's piece as a feature article.

I am even surprised how Dr. Bokor gets to write all his articles given his tight schedule. In fact, he spends about 20-30 mins on each artcle he writes for Ghanaweb. That is all the time he has whenever he wdecides to write for Ghanaweb.

As an aside, let Dr. Bokor do as he wishes. ASK JUSTICE SARPONG AND KWAME OKOAMPA-AHOOFE WHEN KWAME NKRUMAH CAME TO THEM FOR ADVICE.

Having said that, I am not afraid of Dr. Bokor. You have no idea how many Ewe friends I grew up with and how many Ewes I still have as friends.

Lest I forget, Dr. Bokor has taken on the NDC, NDC members, and others from other political parties. Maybe you have not been following all his artcles to know the philosophical compass of his write-ups. Where were you when he took on the Rawlings recently?

Let's learn to look at issues without doing so via the ethnic lens all the time.
