He is no world-class striker! The word 'quality' and Jordan do not belong in the same sentence. Unfortunately, for some reason, he always gets to play. If you go into a 'gunfight' with a knife, you will not go home alive! How did we hope to win against Senegal? With Jordan? That is why we are facing elimination.

We were 0-2-1 in Brazil! 0-3-0 is looking highly probable!! At this point, I doubt if the BS can ever qualify for another WC. Unless there is some divine intervention.

Sometimes Gyan does not perform well in a match, but he will score for you, and that is a striker. Right now, the Algerians are having sleepless nights because of Gyan and not mediocre Jordan.

Our problem was Rabiu Mohammed. His quality is attacking opponent but he doesn't know how to control the ball and get the team moving and distributing good passes.

I missed Kwadwo Asamoah, Essien, and Muntari in the game. I thought Agyeman Badu could do that but he couldn't. Our problem was in the midfield.

At the moment Jordon is not scoring bcos we are not playing him at the best position which the offensive midfield, yes no 10. The guy is the only player in B S that can dribble and move the ball forward. He is the only player who makes BS look good. If a coach can see that we will ok. We need Dede for 8 cos our midfield is weak. We need a ball winner. Jordan for 10 , Gyan for 9, Atsu/Asante for 7 .. I dont who we have for 11. But that is what I think.

Selection into the Black Stars in the past was based on quality and performance, i.e., the best in the country. These days, I don't know what is happening but the truth of the matter is that some players do not deserve to be in the team at all. How can bench warmers and division 2,3 & 4 players be invited into the team?

Well,thank God, our local league has started and the coach should start monitoring some of our local boys to be groomed into the national team. Every good Ghanaian footballer deserves a chance and a shot. The over-reliance on the so-called average, mediocre, bench-warming professionals is killing our national team. Apart from Asamoah Djan, there's no other world class player in the team. I've said it before and I'll say it again: a half-fit Essien, Muntari of Prince Boateng is far better than all our current midfielders combined. Quality and name matters in a team and the sooner we go for our best, the better it will be for us. Our soccer administrators are more corrupt and indisciplined than these players so what's the beef?

It'd be worth our while to begin scouting for talents, widening the search net and catching them young, both at home and abroad. It's important to have an eye for taller youngsters and build their muscles and stamina while sharpening their technical abilities. We have to re-invest in school football, starting from the elementary throughout college, giving scholarships to well talented young men and women. Let's never forget that it's only on the wings of merit alone shall we achieve our dreams.

My argument is that the Ghana Black Stars, lately are not the same, or better that we can count on them to deliver in difficult situations. There is too much controversy about who plays and who cannot play. The elimination of the trio, Kevin Prince Boaten, Surley Muntari, and Essein, become problematic, even when the new coach Avan Grant decided earlier on to include them to play for Ghana, yet there are those who do not see the wisdom in it and told Avan Grant not to call them back in to the Black Stars squared. The whole sage of this useless man who cries Crocodile tears about Surley Muntari slapping him, therefore, Muntari should be excluded form the Black Stars. Further, insults does not break bones, so why should the GFA, decided that because Kevin Prince Boateng because he insulted Kwesi Appiah, therefore he should continue to be excluded from the Black Stars team all together. I do not know what is going on with the GFA. What kind of discipline are they trying to teach, or display when they are not disciplined themselves, but stealing state money in the name of the Black Star. I cannot understand the stupidity of the whole saga of the GFA. The are all corrupt and useless to a degree of no good. Why is it that the GFA, cannot sacrifice for Ghana and shallow their bride for the sake of winning. At the end of the day, it is about winning that counts the most. The world today is waiting for the GFA, to act and act precisely to improve their attitude, so that the sporting activities in Ghana can continue to grow. If the GFA continue to be stubborn and not follow what most people in Ghana would like to see happen soon, then, there would be complete lack of interest in all sporting activities, which is almost showing now. I am disappointed in the GFA. If the cannot change, it will be very difficult to bring back sanity in to the Black Stars. This is my point.

Let us give credit when due, had Atsu scored the clear opportunity created by Jordan we would have gone home smiling. I wonder what criteria makes Atsu to play ahead of Acheampong and Salomon Asante.

Jordan's inclusion is sheer nepotism. We have much better strikers in Ghana. He looks too lazy on the pitch and falls with the least tackle. Good Strikers are fast, powerful and accurate. Jordan is far from that.

Since 2009 when he joined Marseille, Jordan has played 154 competitve matches (club & country) and has scored only 30 goals. The scoring rate is around 6/year. As a striker, this is more than horrible and does not explain why such a talented player cannot score goals. I am not his coach so I don't have any answers. That is why he needs to partner a genuine striker upfront. Apart from Gyan, Ghana does not have a consistent and more threatening striker. If you want a pure striker, Jordan may not deliver every time and that is the problem. He really is a very good player but if he can't score he should not be the central striker.

And I'm surprised he is hailing Asamoah Gyan! Asamoah Gyan is one player who has constantly been 'slayed' in the past by Ghanaian commentators like Karl. The player nearly quit football. Today he is a hero and a reference point! In football players mature through planned exposures and Jordan is currently doing that - he is still learning the game. So do not discourage him!

I was lucky to meet the 2 Ayew brothers in Madrid at a transit hall when we were travelling to Accra some time ago.I had a chance to tell them how I admire them as players and what I have observed about their style of play.On Andre Ayew,I told him to try and move to another big team before it's too late.His style of play is very encouraging but he needs to make good use of headings.You cannot call yourself a full professional footballer if you don't know how to head balls.He smiled and accepted to train very hard on headings.He told me,he dislike sitting on the bench that's why he is afraid of transfere.I said to him,young man,don't be afraid of challenges,it helps you to grow solid.On Jordon,I did not waste time to tell him about his powerful shoots which is why I like him very much.Just as he was beginning to smile,I told him that he should learn how to give accurate shoots because many of his shoots go over the bar.As a striker,you should not waste chances and you must be able to use you head to score just like your feet.I have never seen Jordon scoring with a header,this alone does not make him a complete striker.Black Stars cannot count on Jordon as a powerful striker,centre forward in African Cup of Nations.Thank you.
