The honest truth Ghanaians seem to shy away from is an inconsistent team is not a team at all.
For the past 30 years that we have missed African Cup over and over, how many coaches and players have been introduced to the black stars. More than we change our supporters/dross lol.
This is due to our impatient with facts and realty.
Fact is that, it does not take few months to assemble players to win tournaments. Ask the USA national team how long they prepared both mentally and physically to just whip the stars ass at the mundial. It took them money to hire the best coach that has beaten Ghana before, train for five years and find some financial means to also destabilise our team. Why would Michael Essien go to Klinsman camp, shake hands before the game; that handshake is worth 2 goals.
Germany won the world cup with the same attitude, they worked hard, they did not dance azonto before the game nor fought over paycheck, they knew they were there for one goal, to win all the games and the ultimate price.
Ghana never do such, we always rush new entrants into the game and expect them to perform miracles on things they have never done before.
Coach system was great, if only the players had adapted. But sorry to say, it takes the educated to easily grasp an idea and adapt, the less educated takes years to adopt the same thing.
Allow the players to come back home, maintain the coach, let the players play for many years and gel then re enter the competition to win.

Excuses are the first indication of any failures and it appears Coach Grant did not do his homework at all. In fact, his comments and excuses point to one major defect; he knew nothing about Africans and particularly African football. One wonders whether he was following African teams performances at the World Cup at all. Of course, there are pygmies in Africa but on average, we have more taller and stronger men here on this continent than elsewhere. I find all his excuses, if correctly quoted, as baseless, very lame and not tangible. We may soon need a commission to investigate his selection for the Black Stars job. He need to be reminded that he has unlimited talent pool, unlike club football, to choose his winsome team from. Coach Avram must know that Ghana's Black Stars is an established powerhouse in world football just as his Jewish folks are into juicy businesses. We are not minnows so he has to work sleeplessly if he is lazy or dull to read games faster. Ghana is capable and wishes to win the World Cup itself so the AFCON should not faze him at all unless he is dreaming. I was the last person to support his selection and still not changed and will not until he proves me wrong. Someone needs to remind him that this game is most dear to every Ghanaian's heart when it involves the senior team. Messing up with Black Stars is more criminal than messing up with our governance and our enviable natural resources (and that explains why Prez. Mahama is tolerated) so wake up, sit up, stand up Mr. Avram and start running around for solutions to avoid disgrace. You will never feel happy with the most hospitable folks on this continent if you do not perform with distinction. Those players who won AFCON for Ghana were shorter than the crop of players in your team now. Come on, we are not playing basketball but soccer for God's sake. Trust me, besides ridicule and condemnation, a lot of world football stars will be offended by your "taller" excuses. Tell him to choose his tall men from our streets and stop complaining. Tell him again to believe in the boys and give them the proper techniques, strategies and game plans (if he has any) and they will deliver. Or is it a case of sheer bad luck because entering by the back door has its own ramifications. GOD PLEASE HELP US.

General Grant, the commander of the Black Stars has provided the strangest excuses so far, concerning the defeat of the Black Stars by Senegal. These excuses are worse that those provided by Silent Killer Appiah
Lets examine where the blame could be placed:
(1) The Mosquitoes.
Is it possible to blame the 'cross-eyed' mosquitoes which transmitted the malaria to Baby Jet Gyan? Maybe and maybe not. In the begining, they said Baby Jet was injured. When they got to Equitorial Guinea, it became malaria. Why, why and why were attempts being made to exclude Baby Jet from playing? " Dont blame 'we' " said the mosquitoes.

(2) The Grass.
The grass has been implicated in the defeat , according to General Grant's observations. Oh Yeah. Did the grass grow taller when the Black Stars were on the ball and then grow shorter when the Senegalese had possession of the ball? Maybe or maybe not . Very had to tell ? This could be a ridiculous indictment of the grass by he coach of the Black Stars.

(3)The height of the Senegal Players.

The coach has to scout all the skills and physique of the players of the opposing squad before handcrafting his team and before chosing the battle formations. Do we have tall players left behind and out of the team.? Of course yes! Is this lack of thinking and foresight a trademark of a great coach? Never! Even with short players, the Black Stars could have used their skill to keep the ball low and dribble their way to the wings and keep possession of the ball and make the opponents tire themselves by chasing the Black Stars all day.

(4)Player fatigue and lack of desire.

The Black Stars looked extremely tired and played without purpose.What could have caused this? Could this be a mutiny over the Arariga-Nyantekyi mediated reduction in the Black Stars' appearance fees? Maybe or maybe not. It should be recalled that, the General took the troops to Spain where the temperatures are much lower than that of the AFCON 2015 venue. Then the players were hauled to Equitorial Guinea by air for over several hours. This will create a jet-lag effect on their body physiology. They could possibly acclimatize themseles in the short time to the higher temperature regime. Grant should check tha annals of the Silent Killer for the solutions of this problem.

(5)The 3-5-2 formation.
General Grant tried to teach this formation to the Black Stars. Did he have the players in the current squad who could play this formation? Maybe and maybe not. The missing players were Muntari, Essien, Prince Kevin Boateng, Kwadwo Asamoah. The coach went ahead anyway to put a half-baked , couterfeit Black Star team on the field. This an atrocious behaviour by the General.

(6)The Black Star squad.
Could the blame be placed on the heads and shoulders of the Black Star players? Maybe yes and maybe no. Why did they not play until they hear the final whistle? How could they concede a goal in the eleventh hour at the last second of the last minute of regulation time? They could have preserved a 1-1 draw and then regroup for the next game. Now they have boxed themselves into the mother-of-all difficulties. Why could they not distribute balls with skill and precision. Why did it seem that they were using the 5-5-0 rope-a-dope blockade formation. This technique had a hand in wasteful destruction of their stamina.

(8)GFA and Nyantakyi.
Could the GFA and Osman Quesi Nyantakyi be blamed for confisticating the pride, honour, dignity and happiness of the people of the Republic of Ghana? Absolutely yes. They had prevented General Grant , the Son of Yahweh, from having access to players such as Muntari, Essien and Prince Kevin, the heroes of the 6-1 demolition of of Egypt. Thus he could not implement his 3-5-2 formation. But again, why did the players fail to grasp the technique. If the time was too short, then, why did the coach fail to change to the 4-4-2 just for now and later use the 3-5-2. Why, why and why.When the players said the GFA could keep the appearnce fee, did Ayariga know exactly that it could mean that the Black Stars mean they will be playing with 'ordinary care'?

PRESIDENT MAHAMA HELP SAVE THE BLACK STARS AND RESTORE THE DIGNITY OF THE PEOPLE OF THE REPUBLIC.

The second half fatigue of the Ghana players proved that it was nonsensical to have camped in cold Spain when the team is to play in warm, tropical weather of Equitorial Guinea. The team could have camped in Nigeria or Sao Thome which has a similar weather to that of the host nation at this time of the year.
