When the VIP lounge was used as a cover to export drugs, the government should have been decent enough to accept responsibility, begin arresting the culprits and be seen to be putting the right rules in place to prevent that from happening again without being told. Logically, there is no fire without smoke and one plus one is two. Definitely, that Alhaji must have some links with people in authority, and the onus lies with the government to prove beyond reasonable doubt that it has nothing to do with the illicit drug business. Moreover, the ex-NACOB Board Chairman said the VIP Lounge was a market place.

To be certain, the author has raised very crucial issues that both ruling government and the opposition ought to consider to repair damages and rebuild the crack lines.
But what I don't agree with the author is Kufuor's greatest thievery he calls mistakes. Well Kufuor was ethnocentric not just Nepotistic and a thief as we all knew him before becoming president by default. The author should have hammered on his thievery but refused to acknowledge that and only picked on his nepotism which has brought division between Nana Akufo Addo and Mpianim, AKA 'ahownfew'.

The whole purpose of this Article was to somehow sanctify Akufo-Addo, canonizing him while still alive, and thereby forcing his perceived unparalleled eligibility for the Presidency upon us.
In order for Akufo-Addo to be placed in such a primus-inter-pares position, the Professor had to nail all the presidential candidate's peers, including all the recent past Presidents to the cross of immorality.
The Professor draws on the foibles of Kufuor, his alleged insensitivity or passivity to Corruption, if he were not pointedly accused of such; the perception of J.J.'s corruption; and the pervasive corruption among Mahama's aids and appointees to isolate Akufo-Addo as impeccably pious.
However, all discerning and fair-minded folks would acknowledge that whatever Corruption that went on under Kufuor's Administration that did not receive the appropriate legal response and redress from the Government had to be with the tacit complicity of Akufo-Addo, at least, for the period of his tenure as the Attorney-General.
If Akufo-Addo did not bring charges against all perceived to be corrupt in the Country, especially, within the Kufuor Administration of which he was the Attorney-General, we must question his integrity and reject any such perception of incorruptibility that the Professor tried create about him.
Of all we know, many Politicians play their corruption game very tactfully, almost imperceptibly under various charades. It is only a serious anti-corruption agent who dares to follow leads and investigate to the very bottom of issues that would often discover the details of such corruption.
Besides, we must take the responsibility of the Attorney-General in our fight against Corruption as the most important among the arsenal of anti-corruption crusaders. If the Attorney-General stands firmly and uncompromisingly in meting out Justice, we would be half-way successful in curbing the crime.
So, if the Professor points any finger at President Kufuor for corruption, he would be referring to Akufo-Addo as well. Akufo-Addo, as the Nation's top prosecutor, could have boldly led the prosecution of all those the Professor perceives as
corrupt under Kufuor's Regime.
Many cases of grievous crimes occurred under Akufo-Addo's tenure as the Attorney-General that he failed to actively bring to Justice. So, let the Professor tell the truth about the moral strength of his idol Politician he is campaigning for to be the next President of Ghana, Akufo-Addo, and stop demonizing others instead.

Bien vu, Kwame, but Akufo-Addo is far from being the ideal persona Ghanaians would look up to.
In effect Akufo-Addo is just as corrupt as any other Ghanaian politician, especially the likes Kufuor; he is way smarter than Kufuor, though.
On the other hand, taking for granted the level of corruption among the statesmen in Ghana and all administrators of public institution, a fact which lends credence to the idea that the increase in corruption in Ghana is a normal and steady routine, I think Akufo-Addo merits to be president. It is my belief he would not offer worse situation being foisted on us.
For a fact, I have been against his presidency and probably still do, but would he offer worse?

If Mpiani's objective in his observation is to derail Nana Addo then he must come again. What was he and his former boss doing at the opening of the former Merchant Bank? That alone speaks volumes of the man.

Okoampa-Ahoofe, try as much as you like, you still can't tie Ms. Adu-Gyamfi, the drug queen, to the government. Your Akufo-Addo is the one who has been known to surround himself with cpersons with ties to drug dealing, and you can't deny that. What is not surprising here is that Okoampa-Ahoofe is a demented serial liar peddling false propaganda on behalf of Akufo-Akufo-Addo. Akufo-Addo is a serial loser, and his serial liar is none other than the psycho academic Okoampa-Ahoofe. Keep spewing your lies and fabrications, Ahoofe, for your visionless and clueless Akufo-Addo is slowly inching towards his third defeat. And you guys will again be singing the pink sheet blues.
