Rawlings' mental state is questionable and has always been but I thing its getting worse for him. Karma never fails. Killing of other human beings is a heavy load and now Rawlyns is starting to show signs of all the evil in the past. Getting old with a mental issue is worse than dying young. I personally have no sympathies for him, but I am glad that no one put him against a wall to be shot like he did to his predecessors. In your infantile mind, do you know the government that your tin-god overthrew? Limann, then the president was put into office by Ghanaian voters meaning, JJ overthrew a democratically elected government so, stop being ignorant by saying that JJ built Ghana into a democratic dispensation.

JJ is a thief and a fake revolutionary who saw that coping with life isn't easy and the only option left is to stage a useless coup to get by. Trust me, that is the sole purpose of JJ ascending onto the political terrain.

You are so stupid you defy logic. Some of Rawlings Ministers, Abodakpi, Selormey, Yanka, Kwame Peprah and others went to prison for corruption.

Tell me one person in Kufuor's government who has been convicted for corruption.

Rawlings and his wife are the biggest "armed robbers" in Ghana in terms of corruption.

Get your facts correct. Kuffour was in Government in the 2nd Republic as Deputy "Something" in Busia Regime. I can't remember exactly. It is therefore not true that Rawlings put Kuffour in Politics.

That is what we have in our mist. I blame General Akuffo for given him a trial after his poor failed coup attempt. He should have been dropped into the sea from a chopper like he did to many. Ghana really went to the dog for 20 years, and I am glad I did not live through it. Thank God my friend, the late Major Boateng Ochere, slapped him when he was arrested after his abortive coup.

I honestly wish J. J. would just retire his lips on national issues. He brings all the insults upon himself with such hard-to-substantiate allegations as this. Is he seeking for the sympathy of the masses or what? For all the plethora of atrocities many accuse him of he would be better off removing himself from the cynosure of the Public, and keeping his tongue still behind his teeth.

Whether or not Kufuor's Regime wanted him dead, he is still alive and never did he ever in all these past years hint us of this claim. J. J.'s claim makes no sense at all. Given how we all know him to be so stentorian and quick at taunting his political Opponents, he would have boomed us all with that attempt on his life. His allegation sounds more hallucinatory than real. If Kufuor wanted him dead, what made him stop pursuing him, then?

It is easier for one to believe how Kufuor's Regime might have sought for some legal vengeance on him as many believe it got with Tsikata and Kwame Karikari than Kufuor wishing to eliminate him. I think if that were true, Kufuor would have succeeded, in one way or another, within that long double term of 8 years he ruled. J. J. must allude to his being invincible. If Kufuor wanted him dead, he would be long dead by now. I wish J. J. would be more circumspect, and not assume all his successors at the Presidency are simply more evil than he could ever be.

Sometimes we run away from our own shadow. With such comments, Rawlings is giving credence to the old adage that the culprit often runs away even when no one is chasing after him or her. It sounds as if the past is catching up to J. J.'s psyche. If I were him, I would simply quietly exit from the ever-heating Political landscape. The more things get rough, the more many would reach back to find convenient targets to blame for our failures. And if J. J. keeps making himself such a target, it much more easily revives the tension that we thought the Kufuor Amnesty was supposed to melt away via the truth and conciliation commission.

It is almost comical when the person who approved of the execution of others would be soliciting for sympathies from the public for some obscure plot to eliminate him. I remember his dog-eat-dog comments of the past. Is that what he still fears?

If he fears for his life, he must rather be more careful and refrain from making more enemies for himself by such wild, unsubstantiated accusations in Public.

J. J. should have been satisfied with the remnant goodwill he left the Presidency with, instead of returning every now and then to disturb the bees nest. We'd rather he refrained from inflaming the sensibilities of many who still bear him lots of grudge. We need some Peace to think about how we are going to survive the storm of corruption engulfing us.

A Brigadier-General is an Army rank. Its equivalent in the Navy is a Commodore.

Brigadier-General Nunoo-Mensah therefore couldn't have commanded the Ghana Navy at anytime in his life time while in active service.
