I am making this comment during recess of a jury trial; so I will not be here any time soon. But when I do, I expect some religious goons to show their faces.......

Dr SAS obviously seems to believe in the religious, metaphysical "truths" and thinks the religious leaders are failing to uphold them. I don't. So, we obviously belong to different paradigms.
You want us to, in your own words, "to unmask the palpable guiles of our religious leaders and their deceptive teachings." So let us begin from the beginning, as I did when I returned from school when in primary one and told my mother that the teacher lied about how God causes rain to fall. Of course, I already knew about evaporation and precipitation before I entered primary one, thanks to the tons of books in the house, including many children picture books and my senior siblings explaining to me such things. So I knew about plate movements, continental drift, volcanoes, Gondwanaland, fold mountains, that Africa will split into two along the Congo-Tanzania area and one portion will smash into Europe while the other moves towards the Antarctic before I entered primary one. You see, it is called background. So that day, I won the debate against my mum who tried to support our teacher, one of my many aunties and Head Mistress Madam H. Tamakloe and gave up, saying I should take the qs up with my dad when he came. Of course, he also lost the debate and said go to school, study hard and you'd find the answers to the series of questions I kept asking amidst laughter by my siblings and others around. E.g., if God created heaven and the earth, where was God before coming to create the heaven, and then the earth? I asked that qs our BK teacher, now Rev. Lawluvi of Anlo Sec. School, amidst laughter from classmates. His response? When I hit about 30 getting to 40, I'd find the answer myself, since he couldn't say. You see, I was that kind of monstrous child. I am still, many people say; not that it bothers me, as I intend to be more obnoxious to the Established Order in the future.
Anyway, luckily for me, I read Philosophy at Legon, coupled by the fact that I tried to read everything I laid my hands on, that's, printed, I reached certain conclusions before I hit 30 which are still valid today! It (religion) is just a big hoarse being perpetrated on humanity. A farce couched in rhetorical ethics (check Marimba Ani) to bamboozle people and then exploit them.
So in the arena of epistemology where we broadly identify three sources of knowledge - I have been planning to write in my serious on the intellectual bankruptcy - which of the three sources tells the "truth" about the cosmos and we should apply in guiding our daily lives? At least the best "truth" about the origin of the cosmos, the physical world, explain phenomena, etc., etc?
Btw, would you say the whites and Arabs that used their religions to justify the enslavement of Africans, mass murders, plunder, etc., behaved morally good? Doesn't it occur to you that some Africans are simply following on their heels?
This has gone on longer than I intended so I am cutting it off here.
