No one is against rewards for hardworking Ghanaians. Maybe peoples opinions we misunderstand sometimes are about some preachers lifestyle contradicting scriptures. These preachers are piling up riches on earth at the peril of the innocent poor which Jesus never himself did.

Does Otabil live in America? So is the so-called house an investment or help America homeless? Don't many of his members still struggling to pay rent in Accra or sleeping in the streets after paying tithes? He has managed through 'Malachi threats' to force out peoples 10% income as tithes whilst Christ has already redeemed the same peoples from the curses of the Law.

Opoku amoako, once a stunch stooge of otabil, used by otabil to terrorise some junior pastors and senoir pastors as well in the 90's and when otabil didnt give a Church branch in London to him, he fought otabil and resigned to self imposed excile in US, has now turned to do his usual bootlicking and ass-licking vomit again. This opoku amoako has no shame, a greedy pastor who misappropriated a lot of Money at all the branches he handled in ghana, now hiding in Virginia and writing nonsense. Is this a returned to servathood or servitude to master otabil? If otabil is untouchable and faultless, why did you leave the Church? Very disappointing when we begin to pull down our own.
A great man like Dr Otabil was able to glean leadership and excellence from those who never went to school. Through his teachings and preachings, people were challenged and they aspired for greatness and , are now great.
Built a school for people to acquire wisdom and knowledge to add to national development. His university is the premiere private university in Ghana, comparable to world class university .Yet ,we the educated, who need to actually appreciate God for using him to achieve greatness for our land and even beyond, are first to castigate and and chastise him. WHY?
Galatians6:7 whatever you sow u reap.
Dr Otabil sow seeds of greatness in people and in Ghana 25 plus years ago and the man is currently reaping fruits of greatness and the fruits of his labor. People ,this is not a rocket science, whatever you sow you reap.

The Ministry of Mensah Otabil has really changed and affected many life in a very positive and tremendous ways.

And in the 80s, likely you rightly said, it was really explosive. There is no way, you visit the Church without giving your life to Jesus Christ, because his message is not to please man, but to glorify God. May the Lord continue to keep him, the family and the Ministry.

Even listening to his cassettes were very piercing to the heart, and the intents and purposes of many hearts were discerned by the power of the Holy Ghost.

He is an Evangelist, a teacher and a Pastor. There is a measurable quantity of Apostolic and Prophet-hood in him, as well.

It is also very important to be very discerning and careful about how we speak and comment about servants of God. God hold his servants in high esteem and his grace and mercies are upon those whose hearts are directed towards HIM, for HE is the one who strengthens them day in day out.

Likewise, I'm at a loss regarding the said article Pastor Frank (who is a personal friend) referenced. However, I need to state clearly that having associated with Dr Otabil and his Ministry, I am unaware of any "property in America". Even if there is any "property in America", you can rest assured that there is NO ILL ACQUISITION associated with it.

There are more important things to discuss...like how to win souls for God, than talking about what someone may or may not own in America.
