American football hasn’t grown that match although they’re getting smarter tactically. They play football as a sport and not a way of life like Ghanaians do. They go into games with optimism, have some experience players who want their presence to be felt on the pitch and would score if you make a mistake. If they don’t see their defence overran by you, as a team they’d play with seriousness with a bit of individual quality to help them push forward to achieve their objectives. Their players have an inferior footballing physique which shows the current developmental status of the American football but make no mistake about it, they know how to kick a ball into an empty net or unleash a goal bound shot and work to create an opening. This time around, they’d even be more desperate not to let their country down. They try to hide the fatal wound in their lack of natural skills by being over-committed
Nonetheless, they will come into this match with a strategy. From the blast of the whistle they would go hunting for the ball so that they’d be the first to initiate an attack and keep Ghanaians at bay with surgical counter attacks. If it’s not working, they would modify and repeat it along similar lines because they will have no time to change strategy. The whole US team will seek to retain their functional shape and be attack minded.
Despite the strategy of the US, the bond in their team is not strong. If tested with a dominant pressing and massive pressure, their team will be overrun. Ghana need to apply their experience and attack them incessantly. Because the US will be attack-minded like the Germans, their defensive lines will be strained, this is where Ghana needs to capitalize, apply quality, style, natural flare and direct purpose to get in behind and score.

Don't mind this publicity stunted! He said he predicted wcup 2006 and 2010? Apuu! Where are the you tube videos for those? This 419 Kwaku ananse akyeampong@twitter fellow says midfield wins these wcups? Apuu! I've done my research of every team that won the Wcup, copa, afcon, euro, gold cup, Asian cup. Basically all major soccer tournammts. The common denominator amongst the winners is this: strong defence! The teams that conceded the least goals ended up going to the finals and winning the trophy(minus penalty shootout). Even teams with the most goals don't win the trophy. This guy is a fraud and looking for attention to promote his crooked,.419 ways. If gh does things right, they can get to the semi finals, but dats where it ends. If you thinknfifa will allow a poor African nation with no vested economic interest to win the wcup. Then you are naive indeed! It will be a final between germany/italy and brasil

World Cup: Ecuador Must Press on After Death of Star Striker
Many of the teams at this summer's World Cup will pin their hopes to their respective star strikers, soccer's offensive aggressors who are charged with scoring goals and keeping opponents on their heels.
For England, that's Wayne Rooney. The Netherlands looks to Robin van Persie and Argentina to a stable of scorers led by the transcendent Lionel Messi. Country by country, the list goes on.
But Ecuador, tasked with navigating a group that includes France, Switzerland and Honduras, will be without its own star striker when the World Cup kicks off on June 12 in Brazil.
Christian Benitez scored four goals for Ecuador during its 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign. Overall, he donned La Tri's blue, yellow and red jersey 58 times for international matches, finding the net 24 times.
Then on July 29, 2013, one day after playing his first match as a well-compensated signee of Qatari club El Jaish, Benitez passed away at age 27. Benitez reportedly entered a hospital shortly after making his debut for El Jaish, complaining of abdominal pain.
Hours later, his heart stopped beating, and Benitez was pronounced dead as a result of cardiac arrest.
Now, his Ecuadorean teammates are left to press on this summer without one of their leaders and most important players. It's a story of loss, inspiration and (hopefully) honoring a fallen comrade with a strong showing on sports' biggest stage.
An "irreplaceable" loss:
This is the Boston Celtics without Len Bias, the Allman Brothers Band without Duane. Moving on isn't quite impossible, but things just aren't the same.
Benitez was more than just a star for Ecuador; he carried on a legacy. His father, Ermen Benitez, played for Ecuador in the 80s and remains its domestic league's top all-time goal scorer, according to CNN.
Christian first made his name as a pro with Quito's El Nacional, the same club for which Ermen starred years before. He later married the daughter of another former Ecuador star, further intertwining himself with the country's soccer history.
Professionally, Benitez played in Ecuador, England and Mexico before signing with El Jarish in summer 2013.

I think Kwarasey stays in the post because at the moment he is better than Dauda. My advice to our players is they should try long range shots at goal to enable us score more goals, because it will help us when we are the same points with others. The defenders should play consequently and give the opponents close marking. The whole team should play on high determination we all saw what the Netherlands did to Spain. The first match will determine our faith we should fight as warriors not cowards. Good luck and you all stay blessed.

How do you justify starting Essien,Inkoom,Kasam while Muntari,Atsu and Opare sits on the bench.Your selection doesn't even include the main play maker Kwadwo Asamoah.I am one of those who strongly believe Accam would have served us a million times better at this Worldcup than Essien,Jordan or Wakaso .We just want the best for Ghana, that is all.No disrespect to any of our senior players and we certainly love and cherish their contributions but we shouldn't be beholden to them forever.

Well said old chap!I couldn't have said it better,I hope to heavens that Jordan measures up because taking Jordan and Essien instead of David Accam blows my mind.Like you said we want what is best for our nation so going to the world cup with just two natural strikers and attempting to turn other player into strikers just doesn't make sense to me.It is too late now so we are going to support ALL the players but I hope Appiah and especially Konadu who was a striker himself discover the qualities in Accam and start learning how to use him instead of casting him aside. The Swedes have learnt how best to use Accam and they are benifiting immensely for that.It is time to start cultivating our next crop of strikers as Gyan will be winding down soon.WARIS,ACCAM,JORDAN,ASARE,OTOO AND A COUPLE OTHERS WHOSE NAMES ARE ESCAPING ME ARE THE ONES I AM LOOKING TO FILL IN.

Gyan didn't miss the penalty vs. Uruguay by fluke. Why do you think he insisted ln taking the penalty over his captain,.appiah. Gyan is a greedy guy. The powers that be at fifa, the betting ppl consulted gyan before the game. This happens all the time. In order to make money, players shave points all the time. Magic Johnson was shaving points in the nba and dats why he was forced out. Be had gotten too big for basketball and dats why he was forced to say he had aids. Same with Michael Jordan. The powers that be went as far as killing his father to send a message for him to retire by force. The wcup is big business. Bettas are making money from upsets this year. U will see more upsets at this wcup.

Ghana Black Stars have to play their game. They also have to be careful with their tackles. Some of the referees are calling the games as if winning is based on higher GDPs. The France-Honduras match is a case in point. Some of the calls were atrocious, & sometimes one-sided: Too many yellow cards; & then a red card.--Bad officiating takes the fun out of what's usually a beautiful game. "GO BLACK STARS GO!!..."
