THAT IS NOT TRUE. THERE ARE MANY WHO DONT EVEN BELIEVE IN GOD AND THEY ARE VERY PROSPEROUS. LIKE TED TURNER WHO DONATED $2 BILLION TO THE UN TO HELP THE POOR. MR TURNER IS AN ATHEIST, HE SAYS THERE IS NO GOD.

THERE ARE ALSO MANY GOOD CHRISTIANS WHO ARE POOR AND STRUGGLING. JESUS AND HIS APOSTLES WERE POOR PEOPLE.

'but they don't go forward' could also mean they don't progress or improve in their condition, circumstance or they don't realize their wishes. Rich or prosperous people also have needs and wants which they don't often realize. They may have relationship problems, unhappiness, depression, ailments, sensitivity to family or global conflicts, etc.
