Why does fifa continue this attitude of seeking to fustrate the Ghana team. Ever since the team qualified it is one discouraging comments to another: The first time it was falling on the FIFA ranking even to the extend that Cape Verde who plays no footbal suddenly is beating Ghana. Then for the second time, singing this underdog music. Has FIFA dared calling South Koreans underdogs? But we all saw what happended in the last friendly. If FIFA is not calling Americans underdogs, why say Ghanaians are underdogs. When in actual fact they (team America) has nothing comparing to Ghana in terms of soccer. This is not basketball, Ok?

Has anyone of us stopped to realize that Coach Appiah has continuously experimented to the extent that he had never beaten any non-African opposition until against South Korea yesterday? I get frustrated and angry with this FIFA rankings but we do not help our cause at all.

What's even more strange is countries like Cape Verde, Wales and Armenia are above Nigeria !!!!

It might no be a true reflection of your country but it provides a ranking. How many international friendlies did Ghana play since thrashing Egypt in the WC qualifier? Ghana lost all those friendlies. If you want a good ranking, win your matches!

Okay Ghana, I am really looking forward to what should be a very exciting opening match. I have followed Ghana constantly since the last two world cups and I have a lot of respect for the quality of players your nation produces. Our US team will have a hard struggle against a very athletic and technical team. What should be interesting is the two teams are similar in that they like to attack, especially on the counter. And both teams' weakness is the organization of the defenses. Could be a very high scoring affair with lots of exciting box to box attacks. Regardless of the result from this important game for both teams, one of our teams has to knock those other arrogant European teams from the group and make a deep run in the tournament. If it be your nation, I will cheer loudly for Ghana!

If Ghana played in the CONCACAF division, the Black Stars will be rated 2nd or 3rd in the world. Apart from Mexico & Costa Rica, there are no real opposition to the USA in the world cup qualifying matches. Their type of "cherry-picking" strikers won't break the Black Stars' defence. I'm still confident that Ghana will beat the USA; it doesn't matter who's coaching the US team, the Black Stars will beat them. It's just a mind-game (what we call "NTRA-NI" in Akan) that the US & its supporters are playing. It WON'T work against the Black Stars. "GO-BLACK STARS-GO!!..."
