    The Coup was engineered by Gen. Emmanuel Kotoka then 2 Brigade Commander and Gen. Albert Ocran also 1 Brigade Commander. Afrifa was Kotoka's body guard.

    Afrifa was not Kotoka's bodyguard but was Adjutant to Kotoka in Military terms which means second in Command.
