I suspect that Mahama and the largely corrupt NDC will be laughing all the way to the next election. An NPP IN TOTAL DISARRAY WILL BE NO MATCH FOR A THOROUGHLY INCOMPETENT AND ROTTEN NDC.

I believe every member of the NPP can become what they want to be in the party so long as they qualify to do so, esp. holding of office or position. It doesn't matter where one may come from; North, South, East or West, Bono, ...

I believe every member of the NPP can become what they want to be in the party so long as they qualify to do so, esp. holding of office or position. It doesn't matter where one may come from; North, South, East or West, Bono, Frara, Gonja, Fanti, Akyem, Asante, Ewe, Ga, Kwahu, Nzema or any other can become party's flag-bearer, chairman, secretary organizer etc.

However, the party, which was founded on democratic principles always leads the way by choosing credible candidates, by way of voting. And it's for this reason that every aspiring candidate goes through rigorous vetting process. Paul Afoko may be a good candidate for the party chairmanship position but seem to have credibility problems. Apart from him being jailed in the UK as rumour has it, he was caught in 2007 bribing some NPP members during the party's congress. That's a serious dent in and could disqualify him from holding that position.

I believe he and is supporters will humbly agree to that and withdraw so the party could focus on the April 12 congress to allow enough time to strategize for the battle ahead. 2016 won't be an easy year for anyone so there shouldn't be any distractions and distortions in the party's plans. Nobody should be allowed to derail the party's focus or plans towards victory. Paul Afoko should accept the fact that he could be useful to the party in other capacities, not only party chairman.

Give us a break and let's sought out the truth and what matters most to our development as a nation. Some folks are writing stuff about this man who they have never met, let alone know. Cowards die many times before their death. Afoko survived the iron clad you call JJ your miniature god and still wants to right some of our short comings for our own betterment yet some of us see this as a crime of the century.
