i patiently await your write up when the tides turn. yes people are entitled to their opinion and who they choose to support at any particular time. in any case that is the beauty of democracy of which no one can deny haruna atta that right.
after reading haruna atta's dissent, i really got his drift and agreed with him to some extent. and my point of convergence is the fact that the prez. was formally invited to the program. i could therefore imagine if the prez had been personally present and all the backlash and perhaps his attempted rebuttal. the whole program would have turned into a political debate.
that notwithstanding for anybody to suggest that for the mere fact that we want a government to succeed there should be no criticism more so from a group considered to be a viable alternative beats my imagination especially coming from someone who is supposed to know better.
there lie in the hypocrisy to the high heavens. when on this planet has any governments been completely insulated from criticisms. infact in our current democratic experiment, some of the most vile criticisms have come from within ruling governments.
i think haruna attah and his likes should spare us this posture of thinking they think well of this country better than any other person.
were we not in this country when blatant lies were spewed about kufour government having stashed all the country's foreign reserves in private accounts courtesy fiifi kwetey. at that time the success of this country did not matter to haruna.
his is purely ethnocentrism given that his tribesman is on the seat. yes rallying all to support a government is only a fair call. but please don't push it any further than that. the mess around presently is visible for all to see.

Sometimes when I read your article, I find it difficult to convince myself if you are indeed an academician. Not long ago, you openly advised the NDC government on this forum to reachout to the oppositions in search of antidotes to the numerous challenges at stake. Here comes Bawumia with a few solution, overlooking the politics which coloured his indepth analysis. As an intellectual, one would have expected that you would at least digest what Bawumia said and pick up the neccessary advice for your government. As usual, here you go waisting your time on Haruna Atta who has since proven that he is a stomach politician and a friend of good weather.
