Granted I bear a grudge of indignation towards NPP and its Ashanti cabal, I find it utterly outrageous that we seem to have an obsession with ethnic and tribal nonsense. I have never met an unpleasant or bad Ashanti person in my entire life before. Unfortunately I do read about a good many of them especially since and during Kuffuors NPP reign. They single handedly tarnished the reputation and dignity of most Ashantis.

Now that being said I find it preposterous for anybody to take issue with this Ashantihene. The man has remained dignified and low key whenever necessary. You cannot blame the man for attracting political attention from almost all our leaders, who for sheer political expediency use him to court the Ashanti vote period, and that is because they constitute a larger part of the Ghanaian electoral and political class. Secondly, the man is a private citizen and certainly not barred from conducting profitable business or pleasure, as long as it is legal and does not pose any immoral ramifications.

The truth of the matter is that much of this animosity towards Ashantis is self-inflicted and perpetrated by only a few diabolic faction. My hope is that like any other group in Ghana, the good people should stand up and defend the dignity and integrity by defying their own people who place them in such jeopardy.

LEAVE THE ASHANTIHENE ALONE WITH YOUR NONSENSE.

Adofo Rockson, who is the epitome of partisanship is advising Asantehene not to be partisan. But he, Adofo does not know what it is not to be partisan. Even in this article where he appears to want to apoligize for his earlier position that Asantehene is quilty of conduiting bribe he is full of accusation of bribery. How can Asantehen appease someone like that? Queen Elisabeth II refers to both Labour and Tory governments as "my government". The Asantehene is doing just that and Asantes should learn to accept it.

By doing the will of God and the Golden Stool, the Asantehene will, eo ipso, be doing the will of the people. The corollary is that if the Asantehene is not doing the will of the people, he is, thereby, not doing the will of the gods, God and the Golden stool. You cannot see the gods, God and even the essence of the Golden Stool. The only way you reach them is through the will of the people. But he will not do the will of a few unscrupulous people whose will does not represent the will of the people at large and so that of the gods, God and the Golden Stool That is what the Asantehene means.

1. CAN HE HONESTLY SAY THAT HE DID NOT PARTICIPATE IN BRIBING SOME THE JUDGES, ESPECIALLY BAFFOE-BONNIE, WHO EVERYONE KNOWS THAT HE LIKES MONEY AND IS FOUND OF TAKING BRIBES?

2. DID HE ATTEND FUNDING RAISING DINNER PARTY FOR NDC AFTER THE MEETING WITH VARIOUS GROUPS AT KUMASI TO ACCEPT THE OUTCOME OF THE ELECTIONS? IF HE DID, WAS NOT A BETRAYAL TO OTHERS?

3. DID HE SPEAK WITH CHAIRMAN OF PEACE, JOHN MAHAMA AND AFARI DJAN BETWEEN JULY AND LATTER PART OF AUGUST 2013, THE CRUCIAL TIME OF THE PETITION HEARING? WHAT DID HE SPEAK TO THEM ABOUT? WHY NOT TO NANA ADDO AND OTHERS?
