Listen to your-good-self, Ernest!
Do you make make sense with your warp and skewed reasoning and logic?
Would the NDC, the party you support, reading between the lines, be willing to elect such a traitor and inward-looking person like Alan K?
What was his participation during and after the elections of the year 2012 and post election petition of the Afari Gyan cooked and petition corrupted of the S/C?
Alan was rather seen in bed with the NDC for 6 clear years instead of the party he claims to belong, for his individual gain, alas, he failed miserably.
By Alan K's actions and in-actions from the year 2007 to to-date, he has manifested his true colours of someone who only thinks of himself and none other. How can such a character count on others' support in return for leadership of the party betrayed?
Alan K has sidelined himself by choice rather than imposition and should never and ever think of leading the NPP party again.
By the way, what business has the NDC and its followings in the recommendation of Alan K for the NPP leadership; if not for mischief and evil?

1. Akuffo Addo NEVER joined Kufuor on his nationwide campaigns, after he lost the Sunyani Congress in 1998! He only attended the last rally in Accra in December 2000!
2. Alan was NEVER permitted to speak on the Akuffo Addo platforms even though he was in the entourage. Reason: Alan always caught too much of the attention of the crowd wherever they go and hence was getting too popular!
3. As for Bawumia the least said about him the better:
a) his proponents should remember that Mahama is already President and people who are interested in voting for a Northerner would rather place their bet on one who is already in the seat than a far away candidate!
b) his submissions at the Supreme Court belied his inexperience in the electoral system as far as the eye of the experienced could see. But the hawks behind him would not countenance any alternative views. Result? The CRASH of an over-whelming defeat at the Supreme Court!!
c) as for personal attitudes it is his own matter and for him to address. And any thoughts about his inability to garner support from his Mamprusi kinsmen in the North?
4.) And what is this Anti-Akan palaver? You want their votes but not their leadership? What warped thoughts?
You sometimes wonder if it were worthwhile contributing to such discourse?

Nana, if people want the country to prosper, then we should back Bawumia and not Alan for the flagship of the party. Bawumia would be capable to unite the party and bring the northners back to the party's fold. Alan is a bit selfish and like Mahama, he believes in using money to lure support to win votes. Bawumia could also appoint Professor Frimpong Boateng as his running mate and I bet you, the earth would shake to its very foundation. NDC could never win against that partnership.

If Alan resigned why did they allow him to context 2011. It is only Alan who can unseat Mahama, who else in NPP? Alan does politics like people in US. Yeboah, you have been in US, where is Santorium, Gingrich and Paul Rand when Rommey was campaigning? They were doing their business elsewhere because they know national campaign is ran by National Executives not flagbearer. Nana is always trouble for NPP and he has never gave up. You are talking about Alan mismanagement, the unperform minster in Kuffour administration but they voted for him. Can you list the achievements of Nana, when he was miniser? Ghana needs Nana Addo far more now than ever. He imbibed politics with his mother's milk. He is a smart, celebrated politician behind his disarming smiles. His opponents are all too aware of his legendary iron fists in velvet gloves. A master tactician; Nana, Bawumia, Jake, Sir John, Osafo Marfo, Hackman Owusu and many others shared a common caution for the petition outcome. It was clear from the SC proceedings and evidences that the NPP won both the election and petition, but for the unintended consequences of a review, accepted the verdict. Nana's polite and thought provoking acceptance of the judgment has even endeared him more to the silent voting majority. His detractors, both inside and outside of the NPP are privy to this boost to his chances, hence their unflinching determination and rush to discourage him from a third push.
Nevertheless, this courageous fighter, whose love for fairness and accountability is second to none in present day Ghanaian politics, soldiers on to 2016 with the popular war cry of " THE BATTLE IS STILL THE LORD'S ".
Nana Akuffo Addo has always had very sharp intellect and firm principles for his arguments and is the right man to fight the government's brilliantly conceived agenda of social suppression being craftily enforced. Age and experience are assets which we must all celebrate and cherish. We should never resent growing old, it is a privilege denied to many. Alan is not growing younger, and what will the argument be when his time eventually comes? This obsession with age will come and haunt some guys later in their political careers. They must be careful with that line. To
Nana, I say the uncorrupted majority of Ghanaians await patiently for you.
Ghana is bleeding.
LONG LIVE GHANA.
