  The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?

Fat Addison knows they have no case and that's the reason why he is delaying the case by his time-wasting cross examination. He knows, once he ends it, the SC will start preparing their judgement. If there will be re-run of the elections who will be the referee? The SC? we need to stop dreaming and let the country move in peace. Not even in America will they dare removing a sitting president. Ivory Coast woes emanated from this same thing and I think Ghana should learn from that. Kenya was smarter enough to throw the opposition case out quickly. Nana should prepare for next 4 years or resign, any truthful person will know this case is going NO where.

  It is a pity the NDC has ignored pursuing a legalistic challenge to the petition, starting with arguing for the immunity of the President from being joined to such and action, and preferred to show-boat and focus on supposed anomalies on Pink Sheets.
  
  A legal challenge will show that, based on precedents, this case has no merit! Period. A few proven anomalies, such as no signatures, wrong codes, wrong tallies, chosen from selectively chosen areas, CANNOT ANNUL the votes of millions of valid voters! Don't their votes also count??? Precedents from other Commonwealth countries had always shown that petitions similar to that of the NPP were thrown out of court. Simple!
  
  To therefore order the removal of Mahama by annulling the votes of millions will be madness on the part of the SC judges. To order a re-voting can only happen if a case of rampant malpractices is proven. So far, from the glimpse of I had taken of the disputations in the SC, I haven't seen the NPP lawyers doing that; so whencefrom this prediction?

It is a befuddling muddle and I hope the SC judges are not caught in it, developing people though they are too, and therefore susceptible to the inane irrationalities of the less developed countries/people (LDCs), a category into which Ghanaians fall.
  
  Had the NDC adopted a legalese approach to responding to the petition, the case would have been over by now. I sincerely hope that in their summation, those legal arguments are adduced to reject the petition.

  You've probably frogetten that we're in a democratic era where "buga-buga" and thievery won't be tolerated as it had been the norm in the AFRC/P-NDC era. Late Prof. Adu-Boahen wrote about this fraud before he went to his grave. "The Stolen Verdict" can still be gotten at the Book Stores in any of the Universities in Ghana.
  
  It's no wonder that NDC's secretary general, Asiedu Nketia will declare that "any idiot can go to court" thinking, as you proclaim here, "A few proven anomalies, such as no signatures, wrong codes, wrong tallies, chosen from selectively chosen areas, CANNOT ANNUL the votes of millions of valid voters! Don't their votes also count??? Precedents from other Commonwealth countries had always shown that petitions similar to that of the NPP were thrown out of court. Simple!" This has been NDC's stance and imagination all the while. You still cannot believe that election fraud is a crime, punishable by jail term. Funny people!
  
  The Supreme Court will soon make their final verdict; we'll see if cheating massively in an election like the December 2012 is something the can be swept under the carpet. Continue dreaming until you realise you've been in a dreamland.

  But hey, who am I to stop this fun or comedy by Atuguba and the respondents' lawyers. I thought instead of wasting a month to talk about the pink sheets, they should have tallied all the over-voting from those pink sheets and tell Atuguba- hey, we have counted or tallied the over-voting from the 11,000 and something sheets and all that we got was less than 30,000 and out of that 30,000, we even had some pink sheets that were duplicates or triplicates. But we could care less since 30,000 could not offset the over 200,000 votes for Mahama's victory.
  
  But unfortunately those dimwits; the mathematically-challenged lawyers spent 30 days trying to discredit or soil the integrity of Bawumia. The question is how do you find him incredible when he, Tsatsu has admitted and submitted pink sheets from other constituencies to validate the "errors." Only in Ghana that you will a "defense" lawyer helping the "prosecution" and yet having the "accused"- tribal &political bigots- stupidly and sheepishly cheering him on just because he is on of their own. Don't you think so?
  
  But I do agree with you there weren't rampant malpractices, just a lot of "errors" on the pink sheets.

Elections are counted before the general public and won through the ballot boxes but not on pink sheets. it was counted in the full glare of Ghanaians and so unless someone is interested in destablising this country the supreme court can do what they want and we will pour our venom on them.

This is a moment for reflection. In fact, one of the reforms that should take place after the Supreme Court decision is that they should make it mandatory for elections to be held in September or early November so that any electoral disputes could be resolved before someone slips in.

  The elections were run free and fair and Nana Addo Dankwa lost fair and square! The NPP is an Akan party run by the Ashanti bunch. Nana only managed to win two regions - Ashanti and Eastern Region. These are the two very regions he won the last time. The arrogance and stupid pride of the Akan clan always beats my imagination. Nana's lost was well predicted and made worse by the untimely death of late President John Atta Mills. Nana who is an arrogant power drunk self esteam lacking man made a mistake in sticking with Dr. Bawumia. Once President Mahama was top of the ticket, the Northern regions were never going to settle for a second banana.
  Nana's campaign was slow to react and adjust to the changing climate. President Mahama dispatched his wife to campaign in Brong Ahafo; a region's whose inhabitants have not always welcomed the dominance of the Ashanti.
  The supreme court is timid in it's approach of this case. Even if there were irregularities in certain polling stations, the SC does not have the legal authority to invalidate the entire election. The SC could invalidate and order a revote in certain poling stations but that will not be enough to overturn the current result.
  Akufo Addo was not cut to be a leader and the court challenge is further hurting the chances of the NPP candidate in 2016. The NPP must cut it's loses and prepare for the next contest.

Towards the end of proceedings there is a concerted effort to shape thinking and the NPP is agitated about a possible loss and are stepping up its campaign to shape the general thinking on the Election Petition. If its not undermining the Supreme Court, it must be all sorts of communique that supports their position. Why is the EIU doing a u-turn. Just note how the article fails to focus on the details but on the rerun and its likely result. This is nothing but negative propaganda!!

  We all saw what happened in court, when his own voice captured on tape was played, when he made those damning remarks. The man looked so stupid, confused and exposed that when he was asked by lead council, Mr. Phillip Addison: "did you hear yourself making those statements?" Asiedu Nketia lied once more in front of the SC Justices by saying: "NO!" Oh, what a liar! These NDC guys are so crazy; they'll lie until thy kingdom come!

  I am wondering why some people are bent on throwing our peaceful country into chaos and confusion.The fact cannot be denied that there were some irregularities in the 2012 polls.In the same vein,we cannot pretend that the past elections under the Fourth Republic were hundred percent without any form of irregularities.
  If we are to be honest with ourselves,we will realize that since the advent of the Fourth Republic,any party that wins the most seats in parliament also wins the presidential seat.This was exactly what happened during the 2012 polls.Since the NPP is not contesting the result of the parliamentary poll but rather the presidential poll,are they suggesting that the polls were conducted by two different electoral bodies with one body doing an excellent job and the other a shoddy job?Is this not hypocrisy at it's best?
  I don't know why Akuffo Addo wants to throw this country into a crisis because he must be president at all cost.How can he rule with minority in parliament?Akuffo Addo only wants to exploit the few flaws and lapses in the electoral system to ague his way to power.
  The country will be better of if no such re-run is conducted.Akuffo Addo and his National Patapaa Party{NPP}must give peace a chance in Ghana.

  Nothing would change evene in a rrun. The same EC chairman, the same personnel, the same problems with biometric machine, the same voters, the sam issues, infact there would be no improvement within this short time. Where are going to get more qualified staff. Election observers would be too weary to attend, leaving the govt machinery more room to do whatever they chose. Not forgetting those voters who would like to punish some one for attempting to nullify their votes. Who are all would police this vote? would the SC judges turn themselves into polling station and returning officers. The only way Nana can become president is outright declaration of victory by the SC for him, anything short of this would lead to more anguish, and probabaly another court case. The errors will remain.

This is the dilemma in which we all find ourselves.
