The premise of your article is just totally off. There is no contract between Waterville or Isofoton period. The Justices are not stupid to rule in favor of Mr. Martin Amidu if there was any shred of evidence that a contract was signed between Kuffour Administration and Isofoton or Waterville even in the absence of parliament approval. There whole judgement debts is what Justice Dotse rightly put it an enterprise by some people in your party to steal the nation money.

...The Government exercised the latter option when we disagreed over the judgment debt and other Gargantuan crimes. The Government, and my colleague Ministers at the time know that there was no provision for dismissal under my contract of employment as a Minister or that of any Minster.
I reserve the right as a citizen of Ghana to protect and defend my honour and integrity should this civilized challenge for the truth be ignored.
This is not the price I should be made to pay by the Government of Ghana for defending the Constitution of Ghana in the Waterville and Isofoton unconstitutional payments declared by the Supreme Court.

Ghanaians remember the regime which stripped people of their properties, destroyed families and killed in the name of corruption eradication. Today, they have been found out by EOCO and the Sole Commissioner to have deliberately connived to steal millions from the State. The Supreme Court has confirmed the stealing, labelling it as an alliance to create, loot and share.
Rather than deal decisively with such gargantuan and mind boggling impunity and corruption, the President chooses to join his communication foot-soldier chorus.

why are you people to continue to defend this gargantuan crime? Apart from the fact that your article is full of grammatical errors, may be should have written in dutch, it is also stupid article. Who is to blame for these Judgement debts? Ask the nine supreme court Justices who ruled in favor of Mr. Martin Amidu. There was no contract between Isofoton, Waterville or Wayome even in the absence of parliament approval. What don't you understand?

Is it a lack of understanding or just politics ? There is a phrase" due diligence" . The onus was on the government to get the parliamentary approval. It failed to do so. Istofon did its part. It has a right to sue

Do you remember the posting of their Ghanaian representative, when he threatened to invoke curses on NPP politicians who were baying for his blood? He said that Kufuor promised to seek parliamentary approval so his company shouldn't worry so they went ahead to obtain a contract from The NPP govt. Kojo Impianim has come out to say that no contract was signed. How then did Isofototon manage to have that money paid to them as judgment debt?

Little Johnny sees his Daddys car passing the playground and going into the woods. Curious, he follows the car and sees Daddy and Aunt Jane kissing.
Johnny finds this so exciting and can barely contain himself as he runs home and starts to tell his mother excitedly.
"MOMMY, MOMMY, I WAS AT THE PLAYGROUND AND DADDY AND..."
Mommy tells him to slow down, but that she wants to hear the story.
So Johnny tells her. "I was at the playground and I saw Daddys car go into the woods with Aunt Jane. I went to look and Daddy was giving Aunt Jane a big kiss, then he helped her take off her shirt, then Aunt Jane helped Daddy take his pants off, then Aunt Jane laid down on the seat, then Daddy..."
At this point, Mommy cut him off and said, "Johnny, this is such an interesting story, suppose you save the rest of it for supper time. I want to see the look on Daddys face when you tell it tonight."
At the dinner table, Mommy asks Johnny to tell his story. He describes the car into the woods, the undressing, laying down on the seat, and, "then Daddy and Aunt Jane did that same thing Mommy and Uncle Jeff used to do when Daddy was in the Army"

GOD WILL PUNISH ALL THESE CROOKS.

Our shortcomings as a nation stem from our inability to be jealously guarded by the rule of law.If those entrusted to be custodians of our affairs FEAR THE LAWS OF OUR NATION,we would not be talking about financial losses to the State.Unfortunately most of these custodians are,by their discipline, officers of the courts, yet they routinely violate their oaths of office and blindly steal from all of us.
Our constitution categorically stipulates that certain financial undertaking would have to be approved by parliament. Now,what part of that constitutional provision is unclear to our government officials, huh? Through a whole process, officials of State flaunt this requirement through the inducement of taking bribes.Such has been the conduct of our former and present government officials some of whom are hailed as great Statesmen by International bodies. What a fallacy.
If all of us would FEAR THE LAW AND RESPECT IT,none of these outrageous incidences of corruption would have such a choke-hold on the day-to-day administration of our country.
The people in authority steal with impunity so all of us,in our small ways, also steal and the end result is that needed resources for development are diverted into individual pockets. And we wonder why we are deprived of basic necessities like good drinking water and power.
