President John Dramani Mahama has sent a delegation to check up on the well-being of Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi following reports that the founder and General Overseer of Glorious Wave Church International had collapsed and been admitted to a private health facility.
The delegation led by the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations, Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, was sent by the President to visit the man of God and ascertain his condition.
Afriyie-Ankrah was accompanied by Prophet Akwasi Agyemang Prempeh, National Coordinator for the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving and Madam Gloria Dzifa Ashinyo, Technical Adviser to Government Communications.
The visit comes amid growing public concern over the health of Prophet Badu Kobi after reports and video footage emerged on social media showing the popular preacher receiving treatment at a private hospital.
Recent reports have indicated that the prophet was rushed to the facility after reportedly collapsing. However, details of his medical condition have not been officially disclosed.

The delegation conveyed the President's concern and goodwill to Prophet Badu Kobi and wished him a speedy recovery.
Prophet Badu Kobi, founder of Glorious Wave Church International, has over the years remained a prominent figure in Ghana's Christian community and has maintained interactions with political and religious leaders across the country.
