Chief of Staff Julius Debrah has earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Museum and Heritage Studies from the University of Ghana.
He was awarded the doctorate during the university's School of Graduate Studies congregation held at the Great Hall on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
President John Dramani Mahama attended the University of Ghana’s July 2026 graduation ceremony at the Great Hall, where he joined the academic procession in support of the graduands.
The achievement adds another academic milestone to his career.

Julius Debrah previously served as Minister of Local Government and Rural Development from 2014 to 2015, and as Regional Minister for the Eastern and Greater Accra Regions from 2013 to 2014.
