The legal woes of evangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Agradaa, continue to unfold as she has faced a fresh lawsuit from PeaceWorkGhana, an NGO, accusing her of making false bribery allegations.

In a video making rounds online and cited by GhanaWeb, a representative of PeaceWorkGhana explained that the NGO first encountered Agradaa while supporting Sarah Gold, a woman who claims she was defrauded after bringing a pot of gold to Agradaa’s church for spiritual blessings, only for it never to be returned.

According to the representative, Agradaa later alleged that the organisation had received money from her, supposedly intended for former Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare.

"Agradaa was able to come out on her platforms to say that when she was locked up at the CHorkor prison cells, she gave me GH¢200,000 to give to former IGP Dr George Akuffo Dampare. At that time, I never met her,” the lady said.

“The only time we met was when I had gone with Sarah Gold to Kennedy Agyapong’s office to meet with Agradaa’s team. She wanted to give me GH¢1,500, I did not take the money she offered me," she added.

The NGO insists the bribery claims are false and damaging to its reputation.

“That situation where she was arrested and spent time at Chorkor police cells, I know nothing about that. It is not true, and it’s damaging to the reputation of the NGO. So I brought the matter to court. And since August 2024, she has refused to come to court,” the representative added.

Meanwhile, after months of delay, the court has now agreed to consolidate the case in Accra.

This latest legal battle adds to Agradaa’s long-running feud with Sarah Gold, who has accused her of defrauding her of family gold.
