A video of the former head of the National Signals Bureau, Kwabena Adu-Boahene, has gotten some netizens talking after he was spotted at the birthday party of the wife of broadcast journalist Paul Adom-Otchere.

In a video shared by The 1957 News and sighted by GhanaWeb on May 1, 2026, Adu-Boahene, dressed in a green suit with matching black trousers, was seen exchanging pleasantries with dignitaries present at the event.

In the less-than-one-minute video, Adu-Boahene was also seen smiling as he greeted former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

He was further captured in the footage having a brief conversation with the former Second Lady, Samira Bawumia.

Meanwhile, the video has triggered massive reactions online, with some netizens expressing diverse views, particularly regarding Adu-Boahene’s ongoing court proceedings, where he has been accused of diverting public funds meant for a cybersecurity defence system, among other allegations.

While some netizens expressed disappointment in the state, noting that the government has failed to expedite his case, others expressed happiness at seeing him in high spirits publicly.
