Absolutely nothing wrong with polygamy. Check out the divorce rate among Moslems who are polygamists compared to Christian monogamous marriages. Divorce is virtually zero among the Moslem polygamists. Come back again!

And you also seem to assume that all couples (in Ghana), that are not muslim, are Christian and/or live by Christian principles. Plus, you failed to consider cultural factors such as submission extracted through violence in certain cultural/religious settings.

Most Muslim polygamists take up to four wives. Once they've had enough children with one wife, that woman, usually the second wife, is quickly discarded for a new wife. The Muslims claim their religion allows them to marry up to four wives, but the men usually end going through seven to ten wives in their lifetime as they continue to silently divorce a spouse and then bring in a new wife to join the other wives. The divorce rate among Muslim marriages isn't any different from other types of marriages. Your claim of a zero divorce rate among Muslim polygamists is a flat-out misrepresentation.
