In most countries where these appointments have been made hardened criminals within the political establishment have always fought them and in some cases they have lost their lives. In Italy which has a history of such appointments quite a number of these appointees have been assassiated by having bombs placed under their cars etc. because as Domelevo said when you fight corruption, corruption will fight you back. I am just wondering why these criminal actions are now being reported. But I can bet my last pesewa that despite the weaknesses and challenges of the OSP there are powerful people in high places in this country who wish him dead.
