Besides, I trusted my wife to be very good and honest so I had no worries. One thing married people have to understand is that if your wife decides to cheat on you with even your trusted friend or Pastor, you can hardly find out. Women that we married at our time were very very honest and respected traditions. It was very sacrilegious and a family shame and disgrace for a woman at that time to be seen as cheating on the husband.
Men in our culture usually cheated and still cheat on their wives because men were allowed to marry more than one but they very very rarely cheat with married women. That used not to be common.
Then also the Traditional Jurisdiction was not forgivable on this except when the cheating husband didn’t know that the woman he is cheating with is married. If the husband of the woman a person is cheating with just gets a bottle of liquor and invokes the spirit of a deity like Akonnedi, Antoa Nyama and any of the river deities, the man involved with the cheating is ALREADY A DEAD DOG. It is still very true that many many many married women will NEVER NEVER NEVER cheat on their husbands. Things have changed a bit now but married women in Ghana seldom cheat on their husbands. As for the men, they still do it but very very seldom with married women.That is the truth.
I did not even need a DNA of my daughter because she just looks like me. And strangely enough, she acts like me except some stupidities l learned from school and friends.. Generally speaking, traditional Ghanaian women are very honest and can be very much trusted. We can have a few exceptions but these become so as a results of choice and association with bad friends, and trying to look better than their friends and always dressing glamorous than every woman. As far married Ghanaian women, they are mostly honest and trustworthy. With the men, hahaha. I AM ONE OF THE FEW ONES THAT CAN BE TRUSTED BY MY WIFE when it comes to going for other women but not smelling inside the Glass or holding the Calabash. Hahahaha.
