There were over voting in Wenchi Polling Stations and under age unregistered young students allowed to cast their ballots too. So many irregularities occurred. So winning margins were in hundreds votes. Remember, John Mahama won massively in Akwatia too. The NDC 2024 candidate was not liked in the constituency as much , so a changed in candidate was tipping votes to NDC
