  Your claim about the Otumfuo not having anything to do with government appointments can't be believed. Even Kufuor is sitting on his lazy chair and shaking his head, saying to himself, "If only Boakye knew". Many have sought the assistance of the Otumfuo in obtaining high ranking government positions, and that's no secret. The Otumfuo very likely does not interfere in security affairs, but he certainly wields some influence when it comes to the dishing out of government appointments.
