  I really appreciate my Muslim brothers and sisters for their love and believe in their Islamic religious practices. Unfortunately I don’t agree the way public holidays are handed to them on their Eid Al-Fitr celebrations. They are just under 12% of the population of the country. The percentage of our Muslim population in official government employment is negligible to be given a public holiday. The government could have given only Muslims an exclusive holiday from work to go about their religious activities without involving the whole country to be absent from Working and getting our economy moving. What are all these? Are we serious in this country? Most of our Muslim friends are not even employed.
