“NPP won’t hand over power today, not tomorrow”.

If you put this statement to someone who has studied the science, the creative art and the meaning of language aka Linguistics, you won’t be alarmed one bit because the context, the pragmatic inference within and the interpretation may not necessarily connect with what NDC is saying. A-Plus, for once, has done a fantastic job as a Professor of Linguistics. Imagine that a Mother tells her three sons to go fetch water from the river and one says he won’t go. A threat from the Mother comes “Then you won’t sleep in this house tonight” or “One of us will kill the other if you don’t fetch the water.” The literal meaning, of course, is different from the linguistic point of understanding because there are other things to consider before arriving at the intended meaning. We know the son will still sleep in the house and no one will be killed even if he doesn’t get the water.

Danquah even lost to a female teacher in Akyem Abuakwa. He refused to accept it and employed bomb throwers to attack Kwame Nkrumah. I can give a long narrative on these matemeho guys but let me limit it to the fourth Republic. In 2020, Akuffo Addo didn't win the elections. He used vigilante groups, the police and the slay queen Jean Mensah to rig the elections. Already, Insults Owusu, Nana's former girlfriend said if elections are won on the social media, Peter Obi would have been the president of Nigeria. We all knew how TINUBU rigged the elections in Nigeria. If NPP employs that tactics, the repercussions will be dire. Bryan Acheampong is an Afghan trained mercenary.
