The name Allah is not a god. The word is just an Arabic term for God - the Creator of the seven heavens and earth and all that therein. So muslims believe and worship no other deity but Him alone who this world and everything in it, unlike how Christians believe.

So in Islam, anybody who worships anything/deity other than this Creator has gone astray.

How must/should one worship any deity than his or Lord that created him/her and the world the person lives in?

If you see any person parading him or herself as a muslim but believes and/worship in other deity other than the Supreme Creator of human kind as well as the heavens and earth and all that therein, the person is automatically out of the religion unless he or she repents.

Please don't limit yourself to what your pastors tell you about muslims such as telling you muslims worship a deity called Allah and other stuffs.

Today, knowledge is in abundance and you are free to do your own research to ascertain some of these things you easily fall for without cross-checking. You can do so through learned muslims or even through the internet.

If you care to know, there's no single Messanger or Prophet of the Almighty God, including Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon all of them) that muslims worship.
