These killings will continue if the people of the upper west region do not sit up. The people of the upper west region are poorly organised traditionally. The traditional authority is not as powerful as we see in Dagbon, Gonjaland, Mamprugu, Bono, or Ashanti. As such, we need a serious police service to bring law and order. Sadly, the police are lame like Ambrose Dery (Interior Minister). The crime in Upper West is even destroying the beauty of the university.
