Everyone here is happy for the beating meted out to the so called pastor, but I can assure you that if he had died (and people die like this sometimes) as a result of the beating, these family members would be indicted for murder or manslaughter and be facing many years in jail. Even now, for setting him up and assaulting him, this is a crime. There are lawful ways of dealing with someone who is sexually harassing your wife on phone. It may be enjoyable taking the law into your hands and people may cheer you on but it can go wrong, leaving you in life changing trouble that you may deeply regret.

I know of a man who was set up and beaten by a woman's husband and his friends, under similar circumstances, after being set up by the wife. The man died in hospital after a few days from organ failure as a result of the beating. Fortunately for those who beat him, the man felt too ashamed to report what truly happened to his family or the police. That saved them from certain prison time.
