Dr. Asem Fofro who is aggrieved, lamented that the party has neglected and rejected him and other people who worked and fought strongly to unseat the NPP government in 2008.

Speaking with Ofori Ayim on Atinka FM’s “Simpieso” Thursday 20, the renowned herbalist mentioned it was him who questioned Ex- President Kufour to pronounce a curse if the latter had also not spent state money during a people’s assembly held at Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region.

“This was the era when prominent personalities of the then Rawlings administration like Victor Selormey, Kwame Preprah, Kojo Yankah and Ibrahim Adams were jailed for woefully causing financial lost to the state,” he recalled.

According to him, he had to spend some days in the forest just to save his life from some NPP assassins after the encounter at Sunyani.

He further disclosed the pain and frustrations that fill some of them who labored their lives for the party as monies, cars and houses are being exchanged amongst groups like “Ladies for Mahama, JM Toaso, I’M For Mahama”.

He interestingly mentioned the flag bearer of Ghana Freedom Party, Akua Donkor is even benefiting from their sweat and toil

Whilst distinguished Jewel Ackah who composed the NDC inspirational anthem is living in a piteous fate and nobody seems to care.
