The Minister of the Interior, Mohammed-Mubarak Muntaka, and officials from the ministry’s agencies are appearing before Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) today, Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

The hearing is expected to examine issues arising from audit reports and the ministry's and its agencies' management of public funds.

The minister and the heads of the agencies under him are expected to ask questions on alleged financial misappropriation cited in the 2025 Audit Report.
